There just simply isn't a doubt anymore. When the lights go up, this kid shows up. Better defender. Better shooter. Unbelievable vision. Impossible to keep out of the lane. Changes games with his pace. Makes teammates better.

There is nobody better in the NBA right now...nobody.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

I wouldn't go quite that far.  He's solidified his place in the top four in my mind, though.

If Rondo keeps playing at this level, he is on the same tier as Deron Williams and Chris Paul.

I will. Rondo is top dog right now. And he has Championship experience.

We're all happy for the win but this is waaay over the top.

Might be a different story by the end of next year.

It would be nice to see him play a Deron of CP3 in this kind of pressure situation. I'm not ready to say he's the best PG in the league. I am prepared to say however he is the best performing player in the playoffs however.

I don't know if its way over the top but I would encourage him to settle down a little bit. The OP, I mean.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

There's no better PG for THIS team. But, Deron is better.

Chris Paul on the other hand is busy losing elimination games at home by 50. He's a turd and overated.

I agree on all accounts.

While im 110% hype right now.. i would never go as far as saying he's the best this league has to offer at his position.

But what he is, is good enough what ever that fictional number is, but he isnt the best pointguard in the league that much is sure.

He simply has not payed his dues to earn that crown "yet" and i do not think even Rondo's bloated ego will go as far as giving himself that crown.

But im 110% sure that he has that goal in mind and ill say this.. there's one thing he could do for next season to becomming the unquestionable best point guard in the league since Jason Kidd and that is getting his three pointer going.

Next year if he can do what he's doing now while adding a 3 point threat to when teams just completly back off him, there isnt a single point guard in the league that would even come close to rondo in the MVP race

He has the passing, he can finish at the rim, he's got the midgame going all he needs to best deron and cp3 at every turn would be that 3 point game.
"Leadership is diving for a loose ball, getting the crowd involved, getting other players involved. It`s being able to take it as well as dish it out. That`s the only way you`re going to get respect from the players"

Rajon has been great, but Deron had a pretty nice playoff run himself (24.3 points and 10.3 assists per game with a .517 eFG%).

I don't know if I'd say he's the best PG in the league just yet... Top 4 for sure.

I will say this though, you tell me to assemble a team for the postseason - any player in the league. Rondo is my starting PG, no question. I've said it before and I'll say it again & again, he's one of the best playoff performers in the league. He just goes up that extra notch somehow and is consistent. Like Legler said in postgame, "when the lights are turned up, he doesn't wilt. He likes the pressure."
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

He's an elite player, top3 in his position and this post season he's starting to get the credit from the media that player of his stature so much deserve.

A bit OT: Is there a dress code for these post game interviews? PP was dressed to the hilt, and RR was just wearing a t-shirt!
