I'm just going to throw this out there...

J.J. Reddick is a little "female dog"

and I wouldn't mind seeing someone take him out.

Get a dang rebound!

We just gifted them those three points, and now Orlando has all the momentum.

Sheed + Davis is a poor matchup for Gortat and Howard. Why are we helping down on the double and ditching Redick? Didn't we learn the lesson last game?

Why did Rondo pass it to Tony? Thankfully Tony penetrated and got a decent shot up.

The Celtics played poorly to end the first quarter.

Not too concerned with the Magic's run ... it was more about the Celtics bad mistakes than Orlando finding a way to gear up their offense.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Pathetic.

Celtics completely stopped playing defense. Remember the whole "Boston has the bigs to defend Dwight one on one so don't cheat of the shooters" idea? Stick with it, it works.

Do not give this mediocre team confidence, they're not even close to your level.

Play ball.

Redick is killing us... and our D on him is missing.

Also, we've got to secure the rebounds or this is going to be a long night, the Magic had like 6 straight offensive boards and shot attempts in that stretch, awful.

Barnes' energy is contagious for Orlando.

Still, we're only down by 1 after one quarter but we have to refocus and play better (and make the wide open looks, we got plenty of them but couldn't make them).

Given the great start, the bench and some sloppy play really wasn't great letting the Magic back but I'll take down one knowing Orlando was going to come out and hit hard trying to land a knockout early.

It didn't happen so, pretty good overall.

Correct, although with the Magic defense, there's no guarantee that we can get much better looks outside of transition.

This game will be won or lost in the 2nd half.  Just have to hang around and withstand the Magic onslaught for the time being.  Just don't get too far behind.

No Ryan Anderson again tonight. I like that for the Celtics. He is a player that could really help to open up their offense.

---------------------------------------------

I do like the Gortat + Howard combination though. I think that is that the best big man combination on the defensive end of the floor in the league. Also the best rebounding combination.

They are pretty poor offensively though so the Magic need to put a lot of offense on the floor alongside them. They should have three of the following four players -- Nelson, Redick, Carter and Lewis -- beside them at all times to minimize their weaknesses. They need scorers and they need shooters to keep some semblance of offensive balance.
