Recorded Monday 5/17/2010. Sounds like a pretty good kid.

He thinks Sheed and Perk defend Howard better than anyone in the league; Bynum not as good as either of them.

"Are we gonna get back to the finals? I don't know...cuz Boston is playing well right now."

Lets go Celtics!!!

As a Duke fan I'm happy he's proving so many Tarhole fans here in NC wrong. They all said he'd never make it in the NBA and be out in 3 years. He's not only making it but playing an important roll on a good team.

I'd like to see him in green.  :)
Peace through Tyranny

Wouldn't be surprised to see him a lot more in this series. And he has turned out to be a pretty good player. Works very hard too.

Surprisingly, he scared me for a while in game 1.... hopefully we shut him down in the next game!!

Forgot to mention that he says Boston sets the best picks in the league, by far.

This is a good listen for Celtics fans.  It seems to me like Orlando--or at least Redick--is not sure if they can beat Boston in this series. Pretty funny at the end when Bill Simmons says that he would wish Redick good luck but it would be a lie....

J.J. Really is a good player. Of course I'm a dukie but still he is very valuable to Orlando

Redick is a guy I'd like to see in green some day.  He's really improved his handle and defense since entering the league.  He's still not great in either area, but he's acceptable.

He's turned himself into a quality role player in the NBA.

I'm not sure that with our current setup we'd have a role for him though.

I would not be surprised if Danny makes a run at him this summer, and makes Orlando match a big offer.  He might be a decent Ray Allen replacement either next year, or a couple of years down the line.  He could really benefit from playing with Rondo.

He would fit the old Eddie House role.

Redick seems like the opposite of Quentin Richardson.  He was almost going out of his way to give the Celtics credit, and he wasn't making any excuses.

I also liked the part where he said he'd rather play 15-20 minutes on a winner, than play a lot more on a bad team, because winning is the most important thing.

Yeah, Rondo is going to need a hustling guy who can nail 3's as a back court mate. Reddick could be that guy.

While watching Reddick play well my friends asked me what I would do if he was on the Celtics.

My response: I don't know.

I have hated Duke and Reddick for as long as I have been following basketball. So it would be a very tough change for me to support him. I guess I would be forced to do it if he became a Celtic, but I wouldn't enjoy it.

Redick is a tough little guy.  I really like him.  He draws charges and plays defense now.  I'd like him in green too, especially if we lose Tony.  He seems to be a winning player who always plays hard and smart.  I admit I thought Morrison would be better due to his height and seemingly nba ready offensive game.
