Wow!!!

NOW THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!

Is it possible Pierce could decline his option, accept a minimum salary and then use that money to offer Lebron a contract in green??

Enough with the Knicks and Bulls references...let's see if we can get this guy in Boston!!

He's no Rudy Gay, but he's kinda close ;) ;D :D

It's not a realistic option.  Even if it were, Pierce wouldn't leave $20 million (plus future contracts) on the table to re-sign with the Celts.

No but, he could sign for the vet min for 2 years and then take the reigns over after the C’s have won their 3rd in a row and 4th in 5 years.

No thanks.  It's intolerable to watch the messiah's games as it is.  Only have to watch when he's playing us.

Beside, gpap, you hopefully saw first hand that the messiah may be an extraordinary talent.....But he's he's only relatively great when the games are evenly officiated...ala games 5 and 6.

Besides...I think Perk would deck him if he referred to him as one of "my guys".

If this were seriously a possibility, people would be insane not to want him in Boston.

Would anyone here take 25% of his current salary so he could get the best person in the world at his/her particular company? Why in the world would Pierce take a significant pay cut to get Lebron? No way, it doesnt happen that way. It's possible though that he tells Cleveland he's leaving and they do a sign and trade for Rondo and others/picks.

  • You say when......
I don't see him as a Celtic, because I don't see him as a team player....ever....! He is a "gimmie the ball" type. Look at Bird Magic and Jordon....when they had low scoring games, they had a good amount of assists. LBJ and Jordon covered a lot of real estate on the way to the hoop, Jordon was in the air, LBJ just traveled, and even coined a phrase for it...because he expected to get away with it......Odd.  I just don't see anything in LBJ's game that I like. Not a great shooter, not much for passing, give him a lane and he can score...IF he has either a lane, or give the ref the assist....I'd rather not have him, just my opinion...!

Lebron passes / picks up a lot of assists.  During the regular season, he was 6th in the NBA, with 8.6 assists per game.  That's an amazing number for a forward.

Roy, TP for being so patient... I see you responding to one of these threads about once every other day.

All things aside, I definitely would like to see Lebron in uniform if it were even remotely possible... provided we had the leadership still in place to prevent him from doing whatever he wanted.
