I know the Cs will get the Magic's best shot of the series in game 2. If somehow Boston can survive this and steal another game...this series would be pretty much over. Anyone else think Boston still can play even better? i think in game 2, the Celtics need to match the Magic effort and then some. If I am the Cs...i wouldn't be happy with just a split. They need to snap their necks tomorrow night.

Make Howard beat you inside and keep taking away the 3 point shot

Agreed -- absolutely massive game for the Magic

It's very possible, Orlando is going to have a very tough time this series if the Celtics play their style. The Celtics can play Dwight one on one and not leave anyone open for threes, this pretty much nullifies Orlando's game. The Celtics are the worst possible team the Magic could have ended up with, they have bigs to play Dwight and foul if he gets past him, and have all the advantages on the offensive end.

I originally thought Celtics in 6, but might be leaning towards 5.

i am not concerned with howard. let him have the bunnies...let him shoot FTs...i am concerned with the pick and roll with howard and nelson....nelson got some easy shots off that yesterday.

i still think you sell out to take away the 3 point shot for the magic. make them beat you going into the teeth of your defense.

In a word, yes.  But I have a feeling that we'll see Orlando's best counter punch on Tuesday night.  If we can withstand it, I think we can take the game.

If we go up 2-0 heading back to Boston, well then I would feel like we might have a chance to take the series. ;D

This game is very very critical for Orlando, and yeah I expect to see their best.

Lots of pick and rolls for Nelson. I think they're going to try to get open looks off of his penetration. This is where Rondo can demonstrate his importance in this series. Shut down Nelson.

I think the Celtics clearly want to beat everyone as quickly as possible. I expect a heck of a game on Tuesday, but think Orlando will win it.

Nonetheless, Go Celtics!!!

Seems like C's are getting better and better each game and I'd be shocked if they lose another game ;)

The 1st quarter is going to be huge.  If the Celtics come out and take control from the tip like Game 1, the Magic may not recover. I feel like the Magic are not a resilent team, they seem to not handle adversity very well.

They seem to take on the personality of their coach, who I think tends to panic at times.  Van Gundy has been much beter this year, but last year the Magic had several games where they blew huge leads.  Things would snowball on them and games got ugly quickly.  Shaq calls him the "Master of Panic", I agree.  http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3953133

I agree.

I don't think we're losing in Boston.

If we do, it'll be huge. But I don't agree that the series would be over.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Carter is a tanker with no heart.

Won't be hard to make him fold if he's defended hard.

I laughed at the brilliant halftime commentary that Carter had "played great".  He had 10pts....How many did Paul and Tony have at the half?

Very possible.

The officials will be a huge wild card in Game 2.

I'm not talking about good/bad or fair/unfair.  I'm talking about style.

They allowed good physical play in Game 1, without a lot of ticky-tack calls.

If they call it the same way on Monday it favors the C's.  If they call it tighter it can take the C's out of their game.

I can't see anything else that could hold them back.
