Nice and physical, gotta luv those hard fouls he was giving....

At one point it was hilarious him and Howard were tussling & Sheed not only gave the hard foul but got his whole arm in a handlock and just mugged him. ****

Rasheed + Perkins =kryptonite

Agree.

I am of the opinion that Sheed should see the majority of the minutes in this series over Perk, especially if Sheed is going to play that kind of great defense all series. Sheed's offense eases the pressure in the lane and allows Pierce and Allen to drive to the hoop for buckets.

Loved Sheed's game today.

Well, Sheed's defense was good but I think Perk's defense was even better.  We'll need both of them to play plenty of minutes because they'll both be racking up the fouls.  But late in games if we need offense we clearly should stick with Sheed.

You need Perk in there for the big-time banging on Howard, and then Sheed to use his quickness and talking to get Dwight out of his game. They both played defense masterfully today.

Sheed is not gonna play good offensively every game, but as long as he plays with passion and brings his defense, I wouldn't complain.

If Sheed and Perk can continue this kind of Physical Play, we can out-muscle Gasol and Bynum.

We still have our hands full with ORL, but as long as the refs continue to call these games fair we can take LA out of their game..

I remember just two days ago a Laker Blogger was saying that he'd be surprised if we got One Win against ORL...LOL!

Keep it up , Sheed!

I think Bynum being there for the Lakers kinda takes a way one of the main advantages the Lakers had against us, and that was Gasol at the 5 against Perk.

I like the Perk vs Bynum and Garnett on Gasol match up much better.

With that said, Sheed was really good today. Top defender in my opinion or close to it tonight in all areas.

Sheed has been very good in the playoffs he deserves to sit back tonight and drink those two beers in his locker.

I was going to include something similar but didnt want to look to far ahead....but I could definitely see Sheed when on Gasoft ( there go to big) just neutralizing him a la KG in 2008

We may never face Bynum / Gasol in the playoffs.  We haven't made the Finals yet.  Plus, it could be Amare / Frye instead, and that could be interesting indeed.

Nothing to do with it. Merely speaking matchup probabilities. I for one think that the Lakers won't get past the Suns, people are sleeping on them.

Wow - Can anyone here imagine the heads that would roll in LA if PHX beats them...

I'll never like Sheed no matter what happens. You can't turn off that many years of sports hate just because he's got on green now.

That said he's been doing a much better job as of late. And as long as he keeps it up I won't bash him.
