I love what happened in this game.

All Doc has to do is show the video from this one game. Contained in this video will be great examples of what works against this team and what absolutely doesnt.

I like this better than a wire to wire blowout because those games are usually followed by letdowns in the next game.

When the Magic made their comeback, they went away from Dwight and went to the drive and dish game with Vince and Jameer. I think that next time the Magic change their philosophy, we will be ready to stop their penetration a little bit more. We are very versatile defensively.

Tp.

I said the same thing to my dad after the game. We saw their adjustmets that they will most likely use in game 2 and we can plan for that. The good thing about this is we don't have to wait until the game starts to adjust, we should be ready for them.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

we beat, according to a lot of people (not me), a better team.....in the opening game of the ecf on their home court......i dont care how we look doing it or by how much we win by. a win is a win, plain and simple!
This is absolutely true.  In fact, the uglier the game the better as far as I'm concerned.  That Christmas day game with Orlando was ugly to most of the world watching but was a thing of beauty as far as I'm concerned.  We frustrate them and their fans with our hard-nosed style.

I agree that there won't be lineup changes in Game 2. Maybe if Barnes is really hurt, but I don't think so.

I think Reddick is a tough player, he is annoying, he takes charges... i dislike him a lot, and that has nothing to do with him coming from Duke, it's just he is like the fly that bothers you in the hottest day of summer. He won't be as effective as a starter, and only bring troubles to the Celtics when Ray is tired. Last year, Ray and Paul and Rondo were exhausted in the series, and last night, you could see Ray a bit tired, and Rondo even more.

Rivers should find a way to rest Ray and Rondo 2-4 more minutes, because the Orlando guards were too fast for them in that 5:30 without a basket.

It will be tough, but the Celtics have a very good chance to win game 2, and then try to close it in Boston.

Go Celtics!!!
