I'd like to see Bosh join the Nets.  If they get John Wall, that could be really interesting.  Bosh could be the main man for a while until Wall comes into his own, and then Wall could be the leader of the team since Bosh doesn't seem to have that fiery desire to win.

They could trade Harris for some pieces...I still think S+T for Joe Johnson would be their best option for trading D-Harris.

John Wall, Joe Johnson, Chris Bosh, Brook Lopez...scary team.

I guess the opinion of that team is greatly affected by your opinion of Joe Johnson. To me that looks really no better then this years hawks team, probably a little worse. By the time John Wall really came into his own Joe Johnson would be on the downside for sure.

Hrm?

John Wall would be miles better than Bibby from the get-go.  He's projected to be on a similar level as Derrick Rose (at least).

Maybe. Every time I see proclamations like this I'm reminded of Mike Conley, who I was assured had the best point guard instincts since Isaiah.

a) Bibby is basically done as a starter quality player.  He's like a better Eddie House at this point.  Woodson probably should have started Crawford or even Teague instead.

b) John Wall is far, far more athletic than Conley.  Only injuries would prevent him from being a force from the get-go.

I agree.  John Wall is legit.  I think he'll surpass Rose in his second year, let alone Conley and the other group B PG's....He's clearly a score, but if he models himself after Rondo rather than the score-first PG's then he'll do/be even better....

I already think of him as a Rose-Rondo hybrid.....He'll score more and more easily than Rondo, but we'll see if he can match Rondo's all around game...won't be easy...

why are you assuming new jersey gets wall?  they might pick 3rd or 4th and not even get turner.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

It's all a hypothetical, of course.

If they get Turner, things still look good for them... Harris, Turner, Williams, Bosh, Lopez (for example).

At worst they end up with Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins at PF, and then maybe they sign Joe Johnson...Harris, Johnson, Williams, Favors, Lopez.  Not quite as good, but still perhaps a very good team in time if Favors (or Cousins) develops into a big time player.
