I watched the halftime show, I watched the postgame analysis.

I am a HUGE Charles fan.  I do not care if he doesn't like the C's. I'm a Kenny fan too, but he annoyed me last year with his shameless self promotion for a HC job somewhere. Ernie Johnson is the coolest white guy since...Jon Stewart I guess but even than I'm conflicted.

But Jamal Mashburn both in his LeBron analysis and his game analysis was spot on. Very substantiative, good perspective as a former player, the guy has a future. It wasn't about Jamal, it was about the game, and while he related it back to his own NBA career, he didn't make it about him. Pretty impressed. Like, Doris Burke impressed.

Avery Johnson was not as good, but as far as actual knowldege about what was going on actually on the court, he was great. His voice is annoying, and its not surprising that he pimped the nets (he was just interviewed bet the nets), but that was annoying as well. His voice he cant control but the pimping of his perspective organization he can. Those are my issues.

Also, Jamal Mashburn picked the magic in 6. I'm okay with that. We are, the underdogs.

Mashburn picked the Celtics to win this game without even a hesitation or hint of doubt in his voice before the game started. Regardless of his prediction, I was thoroughly impressed by his analysis and presentation and professionalism as well as his ability to be entertaining. Guy has a future as a basketball studio guy or national color guy. He was excellent.

Mash picked the Celtics for the series if not mistaken.

He did. It was him, us, and SS. That was it.

EDIT: Also not to snub nick, but spot on. he was professional, he was correct in his analysis from my viewpoint (as a football player who never played basketball at a competitive level past 6th grade, but a devote watcher of the NBA), and overall was pleasant to listen to.
