Blah, this is crap. Of course there are issues. There are always issues. They've admitted to it in 2008 also. Just people blowing it out of proportion like always.

Seriously...every massive group of 20-40 year old guys and coaches will have a level of issues.

I loved Doc's interview after the game. He said this team in training camp was scary good, better than the '08 team.  I think we have yet to see our best ball.  I am really pumped for the Orlando series.

Eh...  KG brought it up, on his own, twice last night.  It seems like something that had bothered him, so I think it's fairly significant.

That said, everything seems to be better now, which is great news.

They've still got some blips on the radar. To me, it's a Pierce-Rondo issue, based on what little evidence is actually available to us. Pierce demanded the ball for a couple possessions in the fourth quarter last night, just like he did through the regular season. Even though it's clear the Pierce ISO is one of our least effective plays, and PP dominating the ball usually leads to offensive stagnation.

I was just posting in another thread, and didn't see this one.  Credit goes to Doc Rivers for getting these guys on the same page.  They are ALL so good that it must be hard (although you are listening, you don't actually "hear") when someone states different ideas or approaches.  Your mind grabs on to what your past experiences have taught you.  Doc has brought these guys back to UBUNTU.  Now is the hard part...keeping them on track as the road gets even harder.

It sounds like it was directed at Rondo, but come on!  KG was crippled and Ray was horrible for the first half of the year.  And Paul only made it a month before he caught the injury bug.  It pretty much had to be Rondo's team.
There were also the earlier reports of Wallace, Daniels, and Robinson kind of being in their own world a couple months ago.  Everyone looks on the same page now, and it's not because we are winning.  We are winning because everyone is on the same page.  And healthy.

It's easier to get along when things are going good. When things go bad guys say things like "if you three old guys would finish out games we wouldn't be losing" and then there are locker room issues.

I think KG also said something like "we figured out how to integrate Rondo" - so its probably locker room chemistry stemming from disgruntle over on court.

Again. Nothing new. Not to the level and weight and value people are giving it. He's made comments like this even in our championship run. That's all I'm saying. There are always issues throughout the season that need to be cleaned up.

I think when Garnett says chemistry problems he is talking about the team underperforming in the regular season. That their offense wasn't working well and that there were many nights were the defensive effort wasn't there.

That this team is extremely talented and that there is no reason for that to happen ... so the only way that happens is if individuals aren't playing together as a team ... that they all aren't singing from the same hymn sheet.

But that in the first two rounds of the playoffs the team have all been on the same page and playing very well together.

If that's the case, why would he specifically mention the "locker room"?

My belief is that Garnett sees this as the most talented team in the league and that there is no reason for this team not to perform at that level if they are playing together.

The only reason for that not to happen is players are playing like individuals. If they are more focused on themselves or not focused enough on the team.

When Garnett says "locker room" I believe he is talking about the player's individuals goals/ambitions + focus being different from one another. Not being a collective ... instead being a bunch of parts which aren't working that well with the other parts.
