  • Rondo = Good
Two of the ESPN experts picked the Celtics.  One was Broussard, so you know there's no rhyme or reason behind it.  The other was Legler.

Hollinger picked the Magic in 5.  I guess that's a good thing since he had the Cavs in 5, too.

Watching Sportscenter this morning and Avery Johnson said the Celtics would beat the Magic because, and I quote, " they are the most mentaliest toughest team left in our Final Four"

If the Suns knock off LA and we beat Orlando, will ESPN explode like a supernova?

The league would kill for a celtics/lakers final. Orlando and Cleveland are ratings death. All of the ESPN clowns that never played always go for the flashiest teams and youth. Veterans win. The Celtics will beat Orlando and LA.

Today's Daily Dime:

#1 - Article on where LeBron might go.
#2 - Article on how the Cavs blew Game 6
#3 - Article about LeBron maybe going to the Bulls
#4 - Summary of in-game Tweets from last night.  Guess what most are about?
#5 - Best/worst players of the night.  Hey, KG got best! And LeBron only briefly shows up in the quote!
#6 - Video of ESPN personalities discussing where LeBron might go.
#7 - Picture of LeBron hugging KG, with LeBron in center of shot, and caption about how a hug was expected (?) but nobody thought LeBron would be going home and KG to the ECF.
#8 - A story about what a great team the Celtics are playing like!!!  We made the list guys!!!  First two paragraphs are about LeBron, though.
#9 - Article about Cleveland's offensive problems.
#10 - SportsNation Poll on where LeBron might go.

I usually defend a lot of the hype, and I recognize the significance of the move, but you woke up from a coma and read this, you'd barely realize there were two teams last night.  Sheesh.

Kobe.

And Dwight, because he's Dwight.
And Rajon Rondo, because he's "cat-quick" and makes for good highlights.
Celtics fan for life.

why are there always empty seats in the Garden for these games - unbelievable .............. tho they seem to have filled up during the 1st quarter.

For the record, the Celts are ridiculous with 'crowd control'. My friend and I got to the Garden at 7:50 and were forced to wait outside in a huge line because they wouldn't let people up the escalators or the stairs. By the time they finally started letting people in, it was about 8:00, and by the time we were able to get through the turnstiles and up the stairs to our seats, we'd already missed the first four minutes of action, despite getting to the arena with plenty of time. It's crazy the way they do it. You'd think they'd want a fired up crown ready to rock, rather than making people wait and get upset with the ridiculous bureaucracy.

I think they do a fantastic job with crowd control.  They don't let people up the escalators or stairs because then it would be way too packed at the turnstiles.  After you finally get up escalator you still have to wait in line at the turnstiles, so there really is no difference between waiting downstairs or waiting upstairs.

LOL. Only one way to find out! Goooooo Celtics and Suns!
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

The stats I'm looking at back this up. KG's "Mentaliest Toughest Rating" (MTR) is 45.6.

That's really high.
