Haven't been this nervous about a game in a while.  A part of me says that we SHOULD win the game tonight.  After five games, the Celts have been the better team and at home, they should get it done.

I am wondering out loud what kind of home court we will have, whether lebron will step it up and take it, and what the officiating will look like.  Part of me has already started celebrating.  Losing this game would be a huge let down.

Somebody hold me  :P

We'll be fine. I don't think this is going to be a close game at all. I think they are going to come out like they did in game 6 against LA and crush them. They understand that they cannot let the Cavs have another shot and that this series needs to end tonight.

All I hear is that the Cavs are going to come out and want this and take it. Well I believe Boston is going to match that and raise it. We have taken their best adjustments and gained a series lead.
We are not leading this series by accident.

The Cavs are broken and they are shocked that this is happening to them. We will impose our will on them, this team isn't afraid of LJ and is looking to make a statement tonight.

I was on the fence about this team going into the playoffs becuase I didn't know if they had a switch. I knew they were capable of playing this way, just didn't know if they would. After watching these playoffs I am convinced that they were cruising all along and have come to play after watching this series.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I'm right there with you.  Rationally, I see that the Celtics are probably going to win.  That doesn't make me feel a whole lot more confident about this, though.

I want to believe that this Celtics team is suddenly a different group, that game 3 was just an aberration, that they are locked in and ready to close this out tonight.  I want to believe in the strength and intensity of this team.  Can't get rid of that nagging doubt, though.

I now believe this team can win a championship; the memory of the regular season woes still remains though, and for that reason I'll always be worried just a little.

I agree with angryguy.  The regular season was our version of Ali's rope a dope.  We just took everyone's shots in order to preserve ourselves for when it mattered.  At least that is the way it seems now.

If we are Ali, then LeLbow, Dwight Howard and Kobe the Ripper are different versions of Forman.  It's time for us to come off the ropes and begin a massive beatdown.

I'm with you. This is the game we'll find out what LeBron's made of. In the last 48 hours he's been bashed like never before. I have no idea how he's going to respond. I won't be surprised if he mails it in like that last game, or if he goes for 50.

I still think the Celtics will win... but I also thought the Bruins were a lock for the conference finals...

Yup was thinking if we drop this game, be ready for the "Were done threads"

I say if we dont take it today we still take it in 7 on their floor.

I'm really not nervous.

To continue with the boxing analogy, it seems like it's always the 2nd to last punch that does the real damage and sets up the final knockout blow. The damage has been done and this Celtics team clearly has the energy left to administer the final blow, likely tonight.

Don't worry you're not the only one.  I don't take any legal medication but, I do try to relax myself before games but, as my neighbors will a test I'm still rather animated.

My setup is normally standing 5 ft from my big screen TV in constant communication with Doc, the refs, and all the players.

For some reason, I am really not worried about this game but am completely positive...

In fact, before the playoffs even started I continually kept saying that "Miami was scarier than the Cavs" and that "I would rather play the Cavs than Wade and Miami" After watching how bad the Heat are I reconsidered, yet, my positive attitude still stayed somewhat the same.

I'm too old to be nervous.

I got the countdown fixed on my computer screen to remind me when to leave the office. Then the horn sounds and the OLD Boston Garden Organ goes off doing the Mexican Hat Dance.

That is the audio Q to tell me to report to my battle station located at the Vin Baker Memorial Tavern.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

As always, I think these 2 teams are very evenly matched. Each game on either court is a toss up.

And yeah I am nervous before all of these games.  :)

I'm really curious to see how Lebron and his teammates respond to the blowout and media criticism. I expect one heck of a battle.

Go Celtics!!

we can't be afraid of a game 7, no matter what happens tonight.

we've proven ourselves to be the better team, and won't lose two straight to them.
