Who are we to complain about the officials? I could care less, we're the Celtics! We're going to beat them one way or another. Any Celtics fan, asked what they think about the refs, should answer in the words of Clark Gable: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a [dang]."

I like your enthusiasm, but when two teams are evenly matched, and then the officials favor one team, it can tip the outcome, as many believe it did in the Lakers favor over the Kings back in 2002.

Impossible to imagine Clark Gable having expressed that as not giving a "dang".

Very true.  But have the teams looked evenly matched this series?  There has yet to be a game where both teams have shown up.

I think the team who is the most aggressive and disciplined wins, and I think that team will also get the calls.

Yeah, I do think they are evenly matched.  They have each blown each other out and have yet to really both bring their "A" games on the same night.  I have a feeling they both will tonight, so naturally I'm hoping that Lebron doesn't get each and every 50/50 call going his way, as sometimes happens with stars, like the way Wade got virtually every call v the Mavs a few years ago.

Still, what you say has merit, and aggression is often rewarded by officials.

Very true. The better you play, the more calls you get. All coaches know this. And we've seen it proven again and again in this series. The first quarter of this game is crucial.

Although - I would still expect our bigs to rack up fouls even if the game is well-called by the refs.

Nothing to worry about if they call it the same as the last game. But we can still beat them if it's going their way.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I know the quote, I wrote the right word, but it was changed for some reason.

Absolutely.  And that is by design.  They have decided they are not giving up any layups, and have been giving hard fouls anytime a player gets in the paint.  I think Doc has really been looking at Perk/Sheed/Davis as 18 fouls (which 6 extra from Williams if needed)...and I think it has been working.  I believe the Cavs are the worst free throw shooting team in the league, and it has been clear since game 2 that the C's know this.
