Who can Jamison defend if he plays the three?

I can't see him being able to stick with Pierce or Ray and certainly not Rondo.

Anyway, if they do make that change, I don't think it changes anything for the Celtics. They still have an advantage against the Cavs starting lineup + Mike Brown is still lost and not close to finding a winning solution.

i agree..i think it hurts the cavs because parker and jamison are already poor defenders...but who is going to score for the cavs? with a gimpy james...they have no real 3 points shooters other than parker...hickson is out there just to get garbage and hustle baskets....i dont see anyone who can score enough in that line up...

looks like cavs are going small and the cavs look to be in high spirits

and LeBron James at the point guard position (so as to remove Mo Williams entirely).

GREAT

No Mo Williams in the lineup works in our favor, behind James he's the scariest when he gets going offensively hes streaky. He changes momentum and can put up 10-15 in no time.

james told the cleveland media that the cav fans shouldn't even worry tonight

“I’m the leader and they’re supposed to follow me,’’ James said. “At the same time, other guys got to be aggressive, too.’’

Recent history is not on Cleveland’s side.

With James, the Cavaliers are 0-3 in elimination road playoff games.

They lost at Detroit in Game 7 in 2006, at Boston in Game 7 in 2008, and at Orlando last season in Game 6.

However, James said Cleveland fans should count on the Cavaliers to force a Game 7 Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena.

Why?

“Uh, cause they got me,’’ said the two-time MVP

...“I’m never disappointed in my play,’’ James said. “I mean, I feel like I could do more, but I’m not disappointed at all.’’

Typical Smugness and Disrespect from Lebron. No matter how hard I try to like him.

He has to develop a sense of Urgency. He has none.

I hope you're right.

UPSIDE - Love the Mike Brown is throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
DOWNSIDE - They are most dangerous when they go small. I'd rather see them pound the ball inside to Shaq. Way better for us.

Changing their lineup so drastically could come back to bite them.  At least I hope it will.  You'll get the players who are removed feeling slighted and it may mess with their chemistry.

boston plays like they have in games 1, 2, 4 and 5...boston wins. the magic number is this:

hold the cavs to under 90 points and the celtics win.

If James is really aggressive tonight taking it to the basket I worry he is going to get a lot of people in foul trouble. I think Ray, Pierce or James (offensive foul) will be sitting on the bench around the 5 minutes mark of the first quarter due to foul trouble.

I want to dedicate the following song to Elbow James:

TP. Well played. I hope a chant breaks out... or the crowd outright sings this song. :-)

Lets break up the Cavs tonight!!! Go Celtics!!!

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I wonder if he'll shake hands when this is all done.
