Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Won championships for the Lakers.

I don't think I need to explain myself here.

Won championships for the Lakers before he was 38 years old.

I don't think I need to explain myself here, its pretty clear that he sucks now and last night's game was just an aberration.

I'd take big Shaq in the offseason!

I also think he'd love to play with KG, The Truth, (the nickname he coined for Pierce) Ray and Sheed.

It be funny to hear him change his tune from "I want to win a ring for the King" to "I want to win a ring for the Green."

I can't believe you guys aren't drooling over the possibilities of Shaq and Rondo on the fast break...

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
If Perk is traded, then I would be for it- even at the mid-level. I think he is still productive and would be for another two years. Obviously we want to get younger, but when you don't have money to spend, you have to take production where you can get it...I do hope Ray gets signed first, though...

If Lebron stays in Cleveland, Shaq will also.  However, if we could somehow get rid of Wallace, I'm sure Shaq would give us 20x more in the same role.

I don't think you understood my point. I don't want a major Laker contributor, particularly one that won them championships even thinking of wearing Celtic Green.

I know Shaq is very well liked but no frickin way. The guy is lazy. For all his greatness he does not bust his tail. The hardest you ever saw shaq run during the second half of his career was after a dunk when he is showboating in his comical way. He came in overweight again this year. You can point to his age sure but then how does he suddenly lose 20 when he's out with the thumb injury? He's not effective anymore (imho) anyway , but I myself have enough of a headache watching rasheed dog it all year. I don't want another guy that is'nt of the "mad dog" mold. Our starting five and big baby and tony allen are our core players (as well as sheed)are such aggressive players. I personally hope after we win the title this year(that would be incredible) we therefore give this team another run while adding one more hungry mad dog type core player.

I LOOOOOOOVE Shaq....

But absolutely not...Imagine Rondo running a transition break with Shaq in the lineup? Oye... I think the idea looks great on paper but during a game I just dont know how it would work.

I'll say no... but if Perk was moved for some younger talent AND Rasheed was salary dumped, then it could make sense.

How's that for a conditional statement?

How about Rondo and Shaq on the pick and roll? Mo Williams does it pretty well. If you can Perk+Someone for a legit young Pf lets say like Boozer. The you sign Shaq for the year 3.25 million and you have retooled your front line. Maybe Sheed is here maybe not but you still have Shaq,Garnett,Baby,Boozer and hopefully Scal and Sheldon on small contracts.

Who knows if Perk will get traded but he definetly will be shopped.
