Please Coach Brown play ShaQ 40minutes in game 6. How can a coach get pressured so much that he starts taking media tips. I hate to harp on Mike Brown inabilities but the guy is clueless. Its to the point where I sympathize with the Coach. I'd say he remains a great defensive mind, clueless on offense.

1)Taking Lebron out in the middle of the 2nd Quarter in the biggest game of your Career.
2)Playing ShaQ extensive minutes.
3)Leaving Antawn on an island against KG.
4)Allowing Pierce to get a rhythm
5)Rondo tiring Lebron (Tip of the Hat to the media again (Brilliant move))
6) Not using J.J. Hickson at all
...................... and it goes on & on

Perversely, I gained a lot of respect for Mike Brown tonight. Not because he did what the media said he should do, but because he kept trying to put guys on the floor who might do something for the team. And guess what? They all sucked. Every one of them, starting from the top, with the MVP. They all let him down. Brown is going to take a lot of heat for this game, but it's not going to be fair. He did what a coach is supposed to do: find lineups that will win the game. The team failed him. Miserably.

As Great as Our Celtics Played last night, CLE didn't play up to their potential, I believe. Our Defense had a big hand in that - to a degree.

I've always respected Mike Brown as a coach. He hasn't always been perfect, but man he has some big egos to feed over on that team.

The sad thing here is that he will be the first to go if things go south for CLE.

Coaches should never bear the brunt of Team failures.

If CLE decided to show up tonight, we still would've won, but it would've been closer.

This has been a strange series.

I too have a lot of respect for Coach Brown. But why listen to the media. They clearly pressured him to play ShaQ a lot, when its not in the best interest of the team. Maybe I'm over-thinking it.
I guess this is more so about the heartless player than the coach himself. Their demeanor was terrible tonight. They are over-matched but at least show some fight.

Our team is a problem to coach against and this is what we were all giddy about when we made the KG trade. It's like there are 3 holes in the dam and he only has 2 fingers to cover it. Rondo starts scoring so he puts Lebron on him. This leads to Pierce going hot for a stretch. KG goes to work on Jamison a few times. Try to dig down and double KG and he'll find a cutter for a layup. And just when he finally figures out he can put his head in the third dam hole, Ray Allen breaks the camel's back and creates the 4th one.

This is the same anology Kenny used after the game ... the holes in the dam. I think Brown is his own man and intelligent enough to not do things because the media says so. The decisions he made were his, and he has to take responsibility for them. I think he does faily well with the egos he has to wrangle, but his knowledge of coaching is moderate, at best, and a work-in-progress.

Lebron didn't guard Rondo the whole game. I don't think the fact Rondo tired him out is the main factor for his performance - he just played badly. The bench was poor as well, and Jamison and Williams not good. Mainly our players were on fire - when was the last time every member of the Big 3 played well in one game?

And Shaq was pretty good today.

Mike Brown's coaching skills were on display as we watch the Cavs makes no adjustments to help a struggling Lebron.  Just give him the ball at the top of the key and let him jack up shots.  Even the TV guys were giving good suggestions on getting Lebron the ball down low and see if he could get himself going.

Good Breakdown.

Throw in 10 unexpected points from Perk, and Our Celtics would've beaten any team in the NBA last night.

We needed to be on all cylinders, and like you stated we were.

Media are underestimating the Celtics, and so is everybody else, including Mike Brown how in addition is overestimating LeBrons power against the Celtics.
Last night in my country all betting houses had given Celtics no chance against the Cavs

I don't think he was pressured into playing Shaq all that much, I think Shaq had his best game of the playoffs by far and Mike Brown tried to ride the hot hand!

LBJ was giving them very little and the Cavs needed someone to setup the offense! The pick and roll with Mo Williams and Shaq was a pretty effective play.

LeBron doesn't go low. That's not his thing. That's on him.

As for the adjustments, what can Brown do really? Besides LeBron, they have no players who can create their won shot. Shaq is the only one, but without a perimeter player who can create, there's not much you can do to help LeBron get going. They also don't have a real point guard to feed LeBron in the right spots.

Put the ball in someone else hands and make Lebron work with out the ball to create easier, closer shots.

There needed to be some sort of adjustment.  That was not working.

They did this, LeBron was too passive to make it work.

They were runnning the pick and roll repeatedly with Shaq and LeBron just sat on the wing. He needs to cut and make himself a target in that situation.

They should use Lebron in screens and cutting without the ball so he can get the ball near the hoop and with the defense set to stop Shaq and Mo.

I'm not impressed with Brown at all. He kept changing things so fast that no one got a rhythm. But mostly I think he's been so by the books and conceding to his superstars that he doesn't have the hand to do something new.
