Good point.  I think the circumstances were a bit different, though.  Game 6 is on our turf this time.  Though this team does seem to be a better road team than a home team (incomprehensibly), so who knows.

All I know is tonight was the best game of Celtics basketball I have watched since '08 and that includes Rondo's ridiculous performance on Sunday.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

There is a big difference in being up 3-2 as the team without home court advantage.

I'll also add that we've won by bigger margins in our victories and overall just played better than in the Orlando series.

Sorry, (and don't take this personally), but this is one of those "So what's the point?" posts to me. Can we enjoy this win for at least a few hours before the "reality" threads come out? Geez! ;) (Just "funnin' ya, MS)

KG/Glen Davis/Perkins/Rasheed Wallace vs. Dwight Howard/Rashard Lewis/Marcin Gortat

Versus

Perkins/Davis/Mikki Moore vs. Dwight/Rashard/Gortat.

At the time, losing was disappointing but looking back on it, if Orlando didn't win that series they would of had some serious problems.

Actually Moore didn't play much in that series.

Our big rotation was Davis/Perkins/Scalabrine..........

Seriously Scalabrine was our first big off the bench, it was bad enough that Doc had to take Davis out after his first foul every game. He did this to preserve his fouls for the minute when Perkins couldn't be in the game to guard Dwight.

Just nuts...

Yup. I've had my two hours of fun. And what a joy it's been. But now it's time to get back to what I do best: worry. This series aint over.

I think the Celtics need to come out and double LeBron in the first quarter of the next game. Don't let him get started. Don't have a double-digit deficit after the first quarter. If we can manage that, if it's still a game at halftime, I like our chances. But don't get blown out before the crowd gets settled in its seats. That's what I'm worried about. Today.

Somehow, Orlando muddled their way through that series. They should have killed us 4 games to 1 based on available manpower.

Plus Rondo had issues with everybody last year. I doubt those lingering issues exist anymore.

The team is peaking at the right time, apparently.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

the more I think about last year's team, the more amazed I am by them: Played a third of the season without their most important player and still won 63 games; overcame a bad matchup and some incredible performances in the first round. I still maintain that if they hadn't lost Powe they would have beaten the Magic. Incredible.

Well, here's hoping we get our revenge.

We still have to get through LBJ.  He's not done yet, not by a long shot.
