I've always like Common, but even moreso now...the man is Unashamedly a Celtics Fan, and picking them to win it all!

It's going to be a tough battle tonight! We can't fall down early (at least too much) or whine about the refs, although they will definitely be against us.

I expect a close game and a close ending. Hopefully Rondo continues to dominate and Paul finally wakes up.

I don't think the Cavs close out the series in Boston if they win tonight but we would be in a very good position if we win this one...

Definitely excited, crucial game tonight!

Paul, Ray & KG have to be loving the fact that Rondo is drawing so much attention.  If the Cavs panic and overly gameplan for Rondo (like guarding him with LeCrab), these 3 guys can have much easier nights on offense which means more energy for defense.

We've been putting TONS of importance on games, it seems...not that I mind, it is the playoffs.

Still, we said Game 3 would prove whether we could maintain homecourt advantage. I...still would like hypnosis to make me forget that game...

Then, Game 4 was important cause it kept us in the series.

Now...here we are at a game which the winner is an 83% favorite (based on past series) to win this series. I'd like those chances if we won Game 5.

Now, do I like our chances of winning Game 5? If we keep the energy on the defensive end up, of course!

Personally, I think Lebron on Rondo is a bunch of smoke with no hope for a fire. Come Tuesday night, they'll come to their senses and have them stick with Pierce. This may mean they try to double Rondo some other way or something and we can exploit something as a result there, but Lebron trying to guard Rondo in a full-time(ish) manner is asking for trouble.

I won't complain if I'm proven wrong, of course, but somehow, I think Mike Brown knows better, even if that isn't a lot. 

And Pierce, you've sucked for 4 games. Your time is NOW. SHOW UP.

Every game in the playoffs becomes the most important game of the year.  ...I can't wait to get today's game going!!! Go Celtics!!

I do think this game is huge for the Celtics and I would be far more confident in them winning the series if they won this game than to lose and have to win two in a row with Game 7 in Cleveland. However, I am reminded of the series with the Magic last year. So far, the Magic and Cavs have won identical games in the two series with the Celtics winning the same games in both (obviously). Now, last year the Celtics took game 5 and they had home court but eventually dropped two in a row to the Magic, so I would not be totally crushed and thinking the series is over if, in fact, the Cavs pull this one out tonight. As someone else stated, this team seems to play a heck of a lot better when the pressure is cranked up and what more pressure could there be than having to win two games facing elimination.

We have dominated 2 2/3 games out of 4 but that Game 3 disaster still bothers me. I told my wife after they blew out Cleveland in Game 2 that that could be a problem and I think it ended up being just that.

With that said, I am still hoping and praying for a Celtics win. Let's get it done tonight.

Boston has been one of the best road teams in the league this year. Pierce is due. One of either Baby or Wallace is due.

Cleveland has all the pressure tonight. LeBron thought he delivered a knock-out punch in game 3, only to get punched back in game 4. Does LeBron have another KO punch in him? Varejao has a bad back. At least two of Shaq, West, Parker, Williams, Hickson, and Jamison will have to play very well...in addition to LeBron - I'm not liking those odds if I'm a Cavs fan.

I did have green lime-aid with lunch this afternoon, true, but I'm trying to be at least somewhat objective when I say: Celtics win game 5.



...unless LeBron decides to put on a show.

I just hope the Celtics bring the same fire they brought for the first three quarters on Game 1, Game 2 and Game 4. I f they do that it doesn't matter if LBJ guards Rondo, Pierce or the ball boy, it will be a good close exciting game.

I also just hope Joey Crawford doesn't try to put his imprint on this game. He has a way of doing that sometimes.
