Confidence Level?

Not to speak for everyone else, but from what I've seen today, the majority (including me) think that the Celtics have to win it in 6 or it's the Cavs in 7. 

If the C's went into Cleveland and took a Game 7, that would be a tremendous upset.

  If we get to game 7 it's no worse than a tossup.

I'm with you on the toss up comment. These 2 teams are the most evenly matched teams in the playoffs. It only makes sense that they are tied 2-2, have both won blowouts and have both won on each other's floor. Each individual game is a toss up.

Because the Cavs have home court in the 7th game, they have the edge, and are the favorites in the series.

I'm less afraid of game 7 than I am of game 5. I think LeBron is going go come out Tuesday like he did in game 3, and if he hits shots like he did that game, it's going to be a rough night. Especially if the Celtics start out flat again. If it gets to game 7, nobody's going to start out flat. It will be a war, and I really really like our chances in a war.

So I am i a training at work the next couple of days so I won't be able to chat much.  Curious what everyone's confidence level is?

I am holding strong to my Cavs in 7 predicition.  I am sure everyone on this board had a roller coaster weekend.  How does everyone think this series will end?

Doesn't matter what my confidence level is.  It matters what the confidence level of the Celtics players is, though.

I hate to say it, but I think it will be Cavs in 7.  The Cs need to show more consistency before I can believe in them.  The Cavs don't have to show consistency, they just have to survive.

I really think game 3 is the best we are going to see out of James for the rest of the series. I said that right after the game and will continue to say. Why?

Lebron is not a great shooter. Yet he was burying multiple 20 foot fallaways. No one can defend a 6-9, 280 lb athletic, speedy player when he is hitting 20 foot fallaways. That is not his game and wont happen again.

Also his teammates are not going to shoot lights out like they did in game 3. West, Williams, Parker etc are just not that good.

I remain nervous and will be on the edge of my seat for the rest of this series. The C's have a very very good shot at pulling the upset.

I agree with previous posters. Every game from here on out is a toss up. I think either way we split the next two games regardless of who wins on who's court.

i think it is going 7 but i wouldn't be surprised if boston actually won game 5...i just get the feeling they are going to do something big tomorrow...and i am usually negative nancy around here

Agreed. I hated game 3, but it didn't make me want to give up. The Celtics D wasn't very good, mostly because no one seemed to be able to funnel the Cavs' penetration toward the help D, but the Cavs were also making insane shots. As you said, you might expect that from a guy or two, but the whole team was on fire. I don't think that will happen again, but if it does, there's not much you can do.

I'm completely jacked up for the next 2 or 3 games. And scared.

My confidence is not high. But... I am suddenly aware that I can't bear the thought that this season might be over in 2 games.

I can honestly see Lebron trying to get his teammates involved early tomorrow night.  The Cavs are at home so Mo, Delonte and Parker should be more comfortable.  It would be best if the whole team could start out quick out of the gate.  Of course, if some of the Cavs continue to suck as they have through this whole series then Lebron may try to do it himself (like Game 3).  I think the Cavs are going to come out intense like game 3 tomorrow.  It amazes me that they don't play with that intensity every game.

and if not in 6, then celtics in 7. i refuse to let reality interfere with my being a celtic fan.
