So I am i a training at work the next couple of days so I won't be able to chat much.  Curious what everyone's confidence level is?

I am holding strong to my Cavs in 7 predicition.  I am sure everyone on this board had a roller coaster weekend.  How does everyone think this series will end?

Not to speak for everyone else, but from what I've seen today, the majority (including me) think that the Celtics have to win it in 6 or it's the Cavs in 7.

If the C's went into Cleveland and took a Game 7, that would be a tremendous upset.

Couldn't tell you how this thing is going to end. Its been so back & forth and appears to be evenly matched.

I will say that I'm pretty adament that whoever wins Game 5 is winning the series, though.

(Don't ask me who I think is going to win Game 5, though  :P )

Considering Lebron has the ability to win a game all by himself I would agree that winning game 7 in Cleveland would be an incredibly tough feat. It's us winning the next 2 or Cavs in 7. As usual you're on the money Racker.

Celts in 6.

We take the next 1 in Cleveland and finish it at home.

Very confident the Celtics will win.

Seeing as Rondo has to ability to win a game all by himself I would be surprised if we lost in 7.

Pretty much how I feel.  The last time the home team lost a game seven (that I can remember) was the Kings and the lakers in that infamous series.

That said, I at least have a bit more confidence in that the Celts have already won one game in Cle.  We'll see I suppose but game % is obviously huge.

If we get to game 7 it's no worse than a tossup.

Umm, didn't the Celtics lose Game 7 vs. the Magic last year?  I was there and have been trying to remove it from my brain since then, so the memory's a little foggy...

Yep...thanks for that.

That said, the Celtics didn't have LeBron last year, and I don't think he'll allow his team to lose a game 7 at home.  He allowed them to lose game 7 on the road in '08, though, and home and away don't seem to mean much in this series.

I agree with the general sentiment, though.  The Celtics need to close this in 6 to have a real chance.  On the other hand, it seems unlikely that either of these teams will win 2 straight in this series, let alone 3 straight.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

I feel that the Celtics are truly the all around better team, and when Rondo is aggressive they have the best player on the court (but just by a small margin over Lebron.)

I think it could go either way, but it's definitely the Cavs series to lose.

LeBron is of course the best player in the league, but where does this confidence in him to "not allow his team to lose" come from? We're not talking about Jordan here. We're talking about a guy who's never won anything. Has he ever even won a game 7 in his career? Certainly he never has against a team as good as this year's Celtics.

I'm not saying he wouldn't win a game 7, but it sounds very hollow to say with great certainty that LeBron won't allow his team to lose, because, well, he's allowed them to lose every year of his career.

Well you certainly got me there.  Oddly, this makes me feel better for this year.
