I loved the 17 points Sheed gave us in game 2, but imo he had a better game 4. He was 0-3 FG's,but was hustling his ass off grabbing rebounds (3) creating turnovers (2 stls + 2 blocks) and I even saw him go to the floor for a loose ball :o and finished with a  +12.

He was also playing Lebron great along with BBD as the 2nd line of defense.  Even though he went 0-3 from the field, he has a huge mismatch against Hickson in the low post on offense. You HAVE TO get Sheed some early looks when he comes into the game, it gets him into the flow of the game quicker and then he tends to hustle a bit more.

Keep up the good hustle Sheed!!!!!!

We need 2 or 3 more games like yesterday from ya

yea well done Sheed. Keep it up :o

I might be wrong but I dont think Sheed cares what the fans think. I dont think he cares what the media thinks. I dont even think he likes Basketball anymore. I think the reason for Sheed hustling can be directly attributed to Kg talking to Sheed after game 1. I think whats important to Sheed at this stage in his career is what his peers think of him.

TP for the thread and good observations.  You're right, his game 2 was nice from scoring, but it was game 4 that stood out the most to me too.  I didn't like how people here said "he has to get 10 and 10" each playoff game to be effective.  Our bench players, Sheed included, can be very productive without scoring.

When sheed dove for that loose ball w/o any hesitation, I almost fell off my couch.  I couldn't believe it lol.  And then he was quick to get up and lift up KG.  He was also a great defender in the 4th quarter.

I'd also like to see Sheed get the ball in the post a lot more often.  Not only can he score at an efficient pace there, and not only could he get the opposing bigs in foul trouble (i.e. Jamison, etc), but it would really help to open up the floor for Rondo, Ray, and everyone else.

I've said this before elsewhere, but I've been very happy with Sheed's effort throughout the playoffs. I see him working hard. Its just that sometimes guys like Beasley are faster than him.

Way to go Sheed! Keep it up!

Maybe I've been in the minority but I've been supportive of Sheed all season. Ball don't lie!

Great points about the Sheed finding his defensive Mojo. I think he will get his 10 and 10 off that to tell you the Truth.

He'll get em the right way and get noticed for something good for a change.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

We are all witnesses?

"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

If Sheed can put together the hustling and the offense for a game we will blow out the cavs.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Keep it up, Sheed. We need this from you (and the bench) for next 4-5 weeks.

More minutes for him, and more situation 1 vs 1 with Varejao or Hickson. If Shaq defends on him, play pick 'n roll for a open shot.

I want to see Sheed get more touches in the post - especially when the 2nd unit is in a drought. Good things happen.

I agree.  Sheed looked solid.  Loved that hustle.  That's especially important if we can knock out Cleveland.  He's important this series; however, I think he'll be even more important if we play Orlando where we'll need his post defense on Howard and his ability to play on the perimeter against Lewis.

I would like to see a repeat performance of the opening game this season. We blew the Cavs out with the new squad. Even though they've added Jamison, they're pretty much the same team. Hustle from the whole team plus Rondo's burst of greatness, and we shouldn't lose another game this series.
Can't stop, Rondo!
