How many Triple Doubles does Rondo have now?

9 sounds right - 3 last season and 3 in the playoffs + 2 this season and 1 from yesterday.

Actually scratch that. It's 8. I think he had 2 last season against the Pacers and the Mavs and I can't remember another one.

  His 4 in the playoffs tie him for 7th all time, and everyone in the top 10 played 13+ years. He probably won't catch Magic, who has 30, but Jason Kidd's in 2nd place with 11, which is probably achievable.

all depends on how often he can make the playoffs and go far once the big 3 retire

  I'd expect Danny to assemble at least a playoff team around Rondo, the east being what it is. A better cast around him will go farther, but with a worse cast he'd put up bigger stats.
