That D Wade, Chris Bosh, and Lebron have agreed to take less than the Max to play together and Win Lots of Rings. Now who knows if this is true first of all. If it is, I was shocked and thought it was too much at first, but If I think about it from the players perspective, I think I would.  Lock up the chance to win titles for the next three or four years in the prime of my career. Why not?

If they were all 30+ years old, I think this scenario would be a lot more feasible.

However, they are all still in their 20s and this is their window to get those huge paydays, those opportunties are few and far between in a player's career so I think that'll be the instance here as well.

Interesting Rumor - my thing is who will be Alpha Dog? I guess that Bosh would not mind being 3rd option, but who takes a backseat - Wade or Lebron?

Unless the Knicks are sign and trading, then I don't think this really works.  Even if they take pay cuts, they would have to take major pay cuts to fit them all under the cap.

If this were to happen though, I go back to my suggestion in another thread that the C's should try to become Suns East.  If that trio plays together, its all over, so why not take advantage of Rondo, and fill the Garden with fans wanting to watch some fun, up tempo basketball.

Wade would take back seat, but publicly not in his own mind. And he would want to shoot the game winners, but that's coaches call.

Chris, how much could they pay all three ruffly do you think, 60 million over five years?  45 million over 4 years perhaps?

Well, they have about $18 million on the books, if they renounce everyone, and that is not counting cap holds for roster spaces, etc.

So that gives them probably about $30-35 million in cap space, depending where the cap ends up.  So you are looking at deals between 10-12 million in the first year.  That is a significant pay cut.

Now, it is possible with sign and trades, but I really don't buy this "rumor".

My point is that IF I was Lebron, I would do it. I'd play for three years at 35 million. And play with D wade, And Bosh, an amazing mix of talent at the two three and the four positions.

After the next three years, demand my Mega Money.  Besides Lebron is already hooked up with Nike and Jay-z. he's already super rich and he's in "the club" Money will never be a problem For him. Even if the had to go over the cap to sign Wade and Bosh it would be worth it.

Rumor from where?

My thoughts exactly. Straight out of a Knicks forum is my guess.

I'll be shocked if Lebron signs anywhere with Wade.

LOL I can just imagine what he's thinking here - sigh first the Olympics now the AllStar game. Note to self: stay away from any team with this shameless thunder stealer this offseason.

I heard that Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan are talking about signing with the Celts next year. Bill Murray wants to sign only if both aforementioned super stars do as well.

The problem is that in order to be the Suns east you don't just need a bunch of complementary players who can run, shoot, and finish.  You need a big guy like Amare who can be Rondo's pick and roll / alley-oop partner.  Gonna be tough to get one of those once KG is retired.

NOO, we don't need to sign anymore aging players, I mean Bugs Bunny has to least be in his 70s by this point

LeBron is easily the Alpha wolf ... he's got more arrogance and ego than the other two and three more put together! So where did this rumor come from?
