Today was my first time going to the Celtics game in 10 years...

What I saw in the first half was lack of effort, and maybe a few bad calls

in my opinion, from what i see in the stands, the Cavs were just hitting almost every shot. Bad defense in a lot of plays, but to be honest, i think i only see rondo, KG, and perk trying pretty hard.

I mean i saw Perk blocking Jamison only to run after the ball and throwing it back to Cavs to score. Rondo not driving enough. And i think they got way more rebounds than we did.

At one point i heard the whole stadium chanting "bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.", seems like the fans saw a lot of bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. calls. At one point the guy in front of me was so p---ed he just tossed his stuff out of the balcony (ouch). I almost got alcohol spilled all over me cuz a fan behind me was getting really upset.

However, no matter how bad we played, i dont think we should've been booed on our home court. Thats just very embarrassing. Ray Allen not getting hot and rasheed returned to his old lazy self.

Hopefully i can see something different in game 4 and then on.

Tommy Point for sitting throught that turd of a game. A golden opportunity for the Celtics was lost. Either that or they simply are not that good.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

  • You know my methods, Watson.
you deserve a refund...  there's nothing to debate.  sure, the refs called it tight early, but BOTH teams have to adjust.  this was about a total collapse of effort.  basketball is both skill and heart, and tonight we left the heart in the locker room and we're not skilled enough to beat them.  they shot the percentage they did because of the number of CLEAN LOOKS they were getting...

.

But that's the exact opposite of a lack of effort. Trying to save a ball from going out of bounds is pure hustle. It's just bad luck that it went to a Cavs player rather than a teammate.

(Of course that is not the main part of your post, and there was more non-hustle than hustle, but just wanted to point out that's not a good example).

i dont want to blame it on the ref...but when they replayed some of the plays, some of them looked very obvious which they did not called which led to the stadium to start chanting "bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline."...

the boos didnt really start coming til the 3rd quarter when the Cs start lacking effort
