how can the same team - referring to the 2010 - boston celtics - look so bad in one game and then turn around and look so good a couple of days later ........... and how can they come out so flat for such an important playoff game (game 3 on fri. nite).
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Finally some "kind of" fair officiating, what a difference it makes!

Lovin' Rondo's energy, he is all around the place, loved how he threw the ball at Varejao to save the possession.

If Rondo keeps hitting his jump-shot, they will have NO answer for him! I love it!!!! And it will loosen up the paint like crazy ... awesome!

  • Thank you Eddie!
Rondo is the best PG in the league when he wants to be.

Great quarter.

Strong D. Rebounding. Pushing the ball for quick scoring opportunities. And Rondo.

Withstood a slow start and came back strong.

Keep it up!

Rondo dominated the first quarter! +9, keep it up and extend the lead.

I'm worried about the foul trouble though, 2 each on Pierce and Perk, 3 on Sheed... hopefully it won't come back to bite us at the end of the game.

I like the C's pick and roll defense off the ball. Away from the action. The other three guys.

Their positioning is a lot better. Closing down the potential driving lanes for LeBron + staying in place to get back to their man. More early awareness to get in the right spot.

Not an uncommon thing is it? I've heard that from a number of announcers.

I think.
