Enjoying it very much.
I've said all season that when reasonably healthy the C's are the best team in the NBA. Stayed hopeful(barely at times) that they'd be ready by the playoffs. Even gave them a 65% chance of beating the Cavs before the playoffs started.
And we should all appreciate this team while they're still together- 4 great players on one team, plus a serviceable center who can play D. Somehow they still don't get the respect they deserve, but who cares. It's winning the title that matters.

And a TP to greenfaith for having faith in Sheed. Does he have a few more decent games in him? It certainly would help.

Enjoy the ride folks. How about a Suns-Celtics finals? Nash and Rondo- that would be fun to watch.

Yeah, Man - TP back at ya.

KG's Alleged "Shower Meeting" with Sheed must've worked, lol

Hope it carries over for next 5-6 weeks. Lord knows we need Sheed.

It's my 5th favoite thing, (following music, the moon, the ocean, and something else ... not necessarily in that order, or even apart). I can't wait for this one ... had extra trouble sleeping last night, and I've been wearing my favorite Pierce jersey all day. Go Celtics!! (TP)

I'm enjoying it, but I keep waiting for them to turn back into the team that disappointed me for most of the year.

I don't think I'll fully believe the Celtics can win until they actually do...oh well.  If somehow they pull off a huge upset over the Cavs I think I'll start to enjoy things a whole lot more ;)

I certainly understand your thoughts here, Pos. The team has been up and down since Jan.

But the way Rondo has been playing this post-season - you may have to add him to your Nice Sig there if Boston can Pull off a Sweep this weekend at home.

Rondo has been our Captain America so far.

If the C's beat Cleveland, there will be a new sig coming, worry not. ;)

Good list-
I'd probably replace the moon and ocean with food and gardening, but the music and the "something else" I agree with!

It's so great when the C's are in contention- especially when they have a team that's a real pleasure to watch- and yes, I know they weren't much fun to watch for large portions of the season, but they weren't healthy.

I hear ya (TP) ... but even when they're playing poorly, I'd rather watch them than most anything else, (but then again, I am a glutton for punishment). ;)

Music #1? Wow - I know that feeling. What's on your desert island list?

Let's go C's!

Nope...based on how they played in the regular season I didn't believe they could do it.  The whole point of my sig is we need to believe in some other heroes to prevent us from facing the ordeal of a Lebron / Kobe finals.

Unfortunately, tonight pretty much vindicated that sentiment.

Yes there was, which just makes this embarrassment that much worse.

The lesson to be learned here is a pretty consistent one in this great game: Single games aren't meaningful, folks. Look for trends. Look for extended stretches of excellence - the one thing this group has consistently failed to provide this season.

It was inevitable that Cleveland would consciously step up the pressure and the tempo of the game. The key to this series is found in how the Celtics respond: And tonight was an absolutely miserable failure that places the short-term future of this season in doubt.

Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
