So, we follow basketball presumably cause it's fun to do.  But the last 2/3rds of the regular season weren't really too enjoyable to watch.

Now, at long last, we're in the middle of the playoffs - we've already knocked out one superstar and wounded another.  We've had "fights" (the modern equivalent at least), blowouts, buzzer beaters, and blown leads.  We've seen Rondo take it to yet another level, Pierce stepping up in the clutch, Ray hitting huge shots, KG looking like it's 08 again, Perk scowling and knocking guys around...even Sheed's had his moment in the sun.  So, the question is, are you enjoying the playoff run so far?  Why or why not?

I'm loving it.  As far as I am concerned, everything this postseason is a bonus, so I am not nearly as nervous as I was in 2008.  And most importantly, we have seen some pretty darn good basketball already.

Definitely, loving every minute of it. I will say though this long 3 day layoff has bad thoughts on the series creeping back into my head. I hope we come out aggressive because if we go down 2-1 I might lose it.  ;D

I am loving this year!  Overcoming adversity and hardship is a lot more fun than having something given to you.  Just having a goal, figuring out how to reach your goal, and having a reasonable chance to reach it is cream.  And just by the Celtics being where they are today makes that chance reasonable...

Having a Blast.

The Boston Celtics Playing in May (Or June ;D), is as American as Apple Pie, IMO.

We took Wade out. We now have CLE on the ropes. Another good game (or games, hopefully) from Sheed and I won't be able to contain myself.

My oldest son is proudly wearing his Celtics Jerseys to school, and his classmates are really starting to give Boston a shot, but of course they say they are still too old.

Kids should not watch ESPN ;D

I'm enjoying it, but I keep waiting for them to turn back into the team that disappointed me for most of the year.

I don't think I'll fully believe the Celtics can win until they actually do...oh well.  If somehow they pull off a huge upset over the Cavs I think I'll start to enjoy things a whole lot more ;)

Happy the C's are playing up to expectations. I can't really enjoy it though because I feel like the rug is gonna be pulled up from underneath the team. Whether it be by the refs or something else.

Fear of the unknown pretty much.

Fandom is fickle.

Today, I am excited, optimistic and enrgized.

If the C's win tonight, I'll be having fun.

If they lose tonight, I'll be momentarily bummed out and then will then slowly gear up for a win on Sunday. 

But, 2 losses in the next 48 hours and I go from fun to misery.

It all depends on how the team is doing.  Right now I am having a blast, but when the game is on it gets intense for me.  If we keep playing the way we are I'll be having a great time.

I've been very happy, but very nervous ever since the Cavs series started.  Even today, I'm so excited for the game, but dreading the inevitable bad calls by the refs and period of unmotivated play by the celtics.  I'd love to say I have a good feeling, but I'm definitely anxious about tonights game.

I certainly understand your thoughts here, Pos. The team has been up and down since Jan.

But the way Rondo has been playing this post-season - you may have to add him to your Nice Sig there if Boston can Pull off a Sweep this weekend at home.

Rondo has been our Captain America so far.
