Rondo will barely ever cover Lebron. Pierce, Ray or TA will pick him up at almost all times. It won't be that hard to set the defense if the Celtics score reasonably well in this next game.

Rondo won't be defending Lebron.  Anyway, Lebron doesn't really have a post up game, at least not that I've seen.  He either drives, passes or shoots from outside.

Isn't the term "cross-match" used when someone defends someone different from the player who defends them? That is what would happen, as Rondo would not cover Lebron. Unless I am wrong, cross matching means that LeBron would not go to the post, since Pierce would still be defending him.

Cross match means when different players are guarding each other on different ends. So because LeBron guards Rondo on one end the C's will end up having Rondo guard him due to transition basketball.

Nominally the C's want Pierce to guard LeBron, but because LeBron will naturally be closer to Rondo in many possessions they'll be "cross matched" at times.

I actually can't recall what his back to the basket moves are.

He usually backs a player down and waits for the help to come to pass to an open 3 points shooter.

If that doesn't happen he'll spin to the basket and shoot a floater, or try to dunk.

While Doc says that Rondo can't get consumed with the 1 on 1 game if LeBron guards him, I'm curious about what Rondo can do to the King.  Personally, I don't think LeBron can guard him any better than anyone else on the Cavs.  In fact, he might be worse.  So in some ways, I'd be happy to see Rondo just play his game and burn LeBron. 

However, I'm also curious what might happen if Rondo makes an effort to draw fouls.  Can he get LeBron two or three quick ones and take him out of the game?  That might be worth whatever sort of "breaking of the offense" it might take, especially since Brown may be pigheaded enough to leave LeBron in with two or three fouls in the first quarter.
