Has the league ever done this in the past for anybody else ever?

Honestly, I've never really noticed before or looked (so maybe they do this every year I dunno).  I just noticed this banner on the front page of NBA.com advertising this and don't ever remember seeing anything like this ever before.  If this is the first time ever though, just thought maybe it could fuel some LeBron hate  :)

And also a random note, these are all made by adidas, I'd think Nike would have rights to this somehow, or surprised adidas has all these items with another company's spokesman...

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

They always sell MVP shirts every year.  Idk what you're getting at?

Idk why what I typed didn't show up, but they always come out with MVP shirts after the award has been given out.  This is nothing new.
