Make it on a green t-shirt and you are good.

hahaha.  TP I like that shirt.

I've always thought seeing a greenout at the garden would be real cool (although at this point its kinda played out).

They give out shirts at the start of the game but it's never anywhere near enough to make an actual greenout.  Maybe they don't want to be seen as copy-cats  ;D

Its sad that new players feel the need to tell Boston fans how to represent. There was a time when the Garden brought it without cheerleaders, jumbotron prompts, or free green tee shirts.

Get off your expecting something to happen bottoms and cheer like it's 2008.  I want my TV to be shaking due to the crowd being in a 'frenzied' state.

The game 2 blowout was their penance for an 'under performing' regular season now show your appreciation.

I don't think the cheerleaders, jumbotron, of green tee-shirts have any impact on whether or not the crowd brings it.  Sure the jumbotron leads to a few cheers and chants, but the crowd is inspired by the players.

I went to a few playoff games back in '02 ('03?) and 2 playoff games in 2008.  And those crowds were WILD.  When I went to the first playoff game this year, against the Heat, I came away very disappointed with the crowd.  There was no comparison between this year's crowd and the crowd during those previous playoff runs.

Energetic play leads to an energetic crowd.  And with the C's giving less then maximum effort for the majority of this season, the crowd just didn't bring it.

Hopefully, the energy that the C's have played with so far in this postseason inspires the fans for these next few home games.

Please don't resort to gimmicks, C's.  That is so high school.

Just be loud, obnoxious and yelling personal insults (without the cursing of course) at the visiting players like we are supposed to and let's help the C's beat them into submission.

By the way, forget a green out.  If you want to go bush league or the way of the Cameron Crazies in the Garden, just have hundreds of towels handed out behind each basket to throw into the air during free throws.   ;)

They've tried doing this before. Even put a green shirt on everybody's chair and the crowd just doesn't do it. I kind of like that. Boston fans are too good for gimmicks like that. We just wanna be loud. Can't lie that it would look pretty cool, though.

When the Thunder did it  I dont think I saw a fan  that WASNT wearing their shirt...it looked AWESOME ....Its really quite a picture when an entire stadium is all wearing the same thing.....   to make everyone happy  we can do the towels AND Tshirts...I wont complain! Free swag is always a plus, just makes my wardrobe go from 86% Celtics stuff to 90%

  • You say when......
I think wearing the GREEN is the right thing to do..!!! Also, it is righteous for
SHeldon to say so, a good player who isn't getting much time but still hasn't lost HEART....I say wear the green and get with it or stay home...! Show the league that we mean business, and that we are all "IN"..!!!

They should give everyone green 'Danny rags' (towels) to wave.
