The crowd is so lackluster. Part of the crowd's job is to try to make the opponent uncomfortable as well as cheer on the home team. Easier said than done at a game like this I know. I don't get how the team plays better on the road. Sometimes the home crowd feels like a road crowd.

If the rich folks don't like to cheer, perhaps they can hire me to do it for them?  I'm available at a discount to ticketholders behind the C's bench.

this game is over...the only thing that can be accomplished is taking out Lebron but no one on this team has the balls to do anything

That is really uncool.

Well, we SUCK...but seeing Bennett Salvatore out there when the game came on---I knew Stern and his boys had their insurance policy out there...ridiculous, how we keep getting Salvatore...isn't there like over 100 refs in this CROOKED League?

i don't think even tim donaghy could have thrown this one for us tonight... ;)

LOL TP. Feels like I'm watching a defenseless three legged puppy who accidentally stumbled into Vick's old home. And I only started watching the 3rd quarter I didn't even see.

What puppy did you get?

So this is it for the Cs, huh? All signs points to yes. Disappointing way to end the season and I feel especially bad for our Big 3, having to end their careers by being chased out of Boston. They just don't have it anymore and it's a shame because I really wanted to root for them to do something special together at least one last time.

We'll see what changes we make next year but realistically, who knows when the next time we'll be legitimate title contenders again will be. Hope it's not another 24 years but I wouldn't hold my breath. Honestly though, as long as the Lakers don't repeat, I'll be content.

THIS is what we get for being SO COCKY...acting like we won this series after the first 2 games...Danny stupidly throwing that towel up---Looks like Mike Brown's team got fired up.

Or maybe you just can't relax and have bad games against good basketball teams.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
ESPN with this towel nonsense. Please. Nobody cares.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

timeout @ 3:47 of 2nd quarter ............. game stats were as follows:

cavs 55   celts 35

cavs 65% fg   celts 40% fg

cavs 67% 3's   celts 20% 3's

cavs 15-17 ft   celts 6-7 ft

cavs 20 rbds   celts 9 rbds

the cavs came out aggressive and determined but sloppy, the celtics came out tentative and slow

add in a celtic playoff crowd that featured at least 4,000 empty seats at tipoff and from all reports was flat for the biggest playoff game this season - used to be unheard of in the Garden.

complete nightmare and embarrassment. please boston, show up and win game 4, for pride if nothing else.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Hey on the flip side, we just had the worst refs assigned tonight - a wasted oppurtunity for Stern. That means we should get some decent refs in game 4.  :D
