i wonder if we will see any energy from boston to start game 4 or will they just take it like they did tonight.

On the road yes. The "home" court is like a morgue!

If you keep blaming the home crowd it might change the way the celtics play. The Cavs were great tonight and the Celtics laid an egg. It has nothing to do with the fans.

30 point deficit -- largest deficit the Celtics have had all season

Not quite as bad as the Hornets showing against Denver last season ... but it's almost in the same ball park.

That's because all their real fans can't afford playoff tickets, while celebrities, pink hats, and rich families fill the place only to sit quietly or boo.

Booing your own team in the playoffs. That's pretty darn stupid. What a lame crowd. I thought better of Bostonian basketball fans. That's not a fan, that's just someone out there to "see some good basketball". I thought being a fan of a team was about loving them. Not about hating on them when they are having a bad time.

This is much worse than the Hawks against the Magic in game one, because at least that game was in Orlando. I stopped watching. Is the garden empty yet?

  • You know my methods, Watson.
Pierce And Ray doing nothing. At least move, do something

It's another one of those games when Pierce looks like he is ready for retirement.

It's a real worry. He's now had three games in a row where he's had minimal impact on the game offensively. We need to remember this increasingly frequent kind of night when we're all excited about re-signing him at $10-12M per year.

LOL...  I've been pleading my case on another forum that Ray is only worth the MLE.  I'm starting to think that might be overpaying for him after tonight.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
The only queestion left is what can the Celtics do for game 4. Not only has the defense been bad, but in all honesty, the complete lack of ball movement on offense has been worse.

don't think there is much when the cavs are hitting like this.

How many layups have they hit tonight? Just ridiculous how many easy shots they're getting.

Crazy perimeter shots open up the lane.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Shaq looks more and more like Brando in the godfather.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I don't care how much firepower a team has...no team is this good offensively.

Especially the Cavs with a slightly overrated Jamison, a 90 year old shaq, a hot or cold mo williams.

They are NOT this good.  This is a true combination of the Celtics playing NO defense and the Cavs not missing hardly any jumpshots.  Even the shots that are defended relatively well, the Cavs are drilling right in our faces.  It was just their night to have literally everyone feeling it.

well...if james continues to shoot like he did tonight...boston has no chance in game 4. tonight was nothing more than a preseason type of effort. the cavs were out to prove something and boston just let them.

game 4 will be very tough now for boston because i am watching a team just get worked and they just are letting it happen.

I don't think Ray's coming back. Danny sounded pretty hesitant on WEEI this week. I expect a S&T.

This game isn't the series... but it's very disappointing that we're giving home court right back.

its the series in all reality....
