Now i can't stand Skip Bayless, but what he said today on first take was spot on. We're not going to bow to Lebron and the cavs and just let them steamroll us. If they win it's going to be earned. I'm sure the celtics are sick and tired of hearing how great Lebron is and the whole cavs team.

Obviously winning this series is the most important thing, but don't think for one minute they're sick of seeing this guys face on tv, Charles Barkley and Magic johnson slobbering all over him. Only Kenny Smith and the players and our fans think we can win. I hope we can continue to play with this chip. Can't wait for Friday. Go Celtics!!

whole different tune here in ohio....all say the celtics have played over their heads and the cavs haven't even tried. all say when they cavs bring it...they will win in 5 or 6...despite last night.

That's nonsense. Mike Reghi who does radio in cleveland said the cavs were in for a tough series. He said the cavs would win in 6, but he didnt buy this theory that celtics were old and had nothing left. He said the cavs fans were about to find out what the cavs team is made of. They finally have some adversity, let's see how they respond.

No need for a faux analyst to see the clear advantages for the Celtics. If you're still not convinced, Game 1&2 showed that the Celtics are the better team. Cavs constructed their team so they can beat the Magic not the Celtics. Whatever advantage they have against the Magic, its a disadvantage against the Celtics. And the Celtics are doing a great job exploiting those disadvantages. That said, C's need 3 more games to win this series its far from over. Basically every Match-ups favor the Celtics.

A Draw? Shaq is shooting 36% for the series. When was the last time Shaq shot under 40%? And he is a liability on Defense. Perk giving the Celtics 10point to go along with 10rebounds. Perk wins this match-up in a landslide.

I just think it's funny that they busted their butts all year for home court advantage and then they "weren't giving it their all" in the playoffs and lost their hard earned HCA for nothing. I don't see that. I think they ran into a buzzsaw of a defense and a team that still has the ability to go crazy on offense at any given time.

Personally glad they have Jamison and not Amare.

Well sure it's easy to talk that way, "Oh the Cavs only have to step it up a notch, they're fine, etc., etc." I personally don't have a problem because the last thing the C's need is to think they've already won this series.

HOWEVER, if I'm a Cavs supporter, I have to wonder where the Cavs are going to go to get some contributions. LeBron is not going to single-handedly beat the Celtics, I don't care if Mr. Miyagi works out his elbow before every game.

Mo Williams aside from his super quarter is Rondo's punching bag. Shaq looks like he weighs 500 pounds out there and Perk is limiting him severely. Jamison can't guard KG and can't shoot over him either. Someone else has to go up about 2-3 gears for the Cavs to have a chance. Who is that guy going to be?

I wonder what the excuse will be if they lose on friday. Nostradamus predicted it so they couldn't beat fate? The team was looking ahead to the 2011 finals? Labron hurt his elbow even more after a tickle fight with shaq? Delonte held them up at gun point and took their mojo?

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say JJ Hickson.  I can see him kicking it off from sheer energy alone.  Before this series, I was most afraid of Anderson Varejao on the Cavs, but now Hickson has taken that spot..

Yeah, Hickson had a good night. However I'm not sure he is a 20 pt type of guy. If we cn get any production out of Baby and Sheed we should be able to neutralize him..

I'm also pretty amused about this whole "elbow injury."  All Reggie and Marv talked about last night was how he was "favoring" his other arm.  First, I didn't see any evidence of that.  And second (as I believe Shaughnessy said today), if his elbow is so bad, why can he shoot well sometimes?  It seems to me that if you have an injury, it should prevent you from shooting well all the time.

I think this is another example of LeBron being a pansy. 

I'd love to see him never win a title in his career, but I fear that like A-Rod, Payton, and Kobe (winning a title without Shaq), that my nightmare will occur.

Since 2008, no one wanted to give the credit our defense deserved. They always pointed to the other team playing poorly, and that's why our defense was looking as good as it did...

Cleveland playing poorly IS a direct consequence of our defense on them. They're uncomfortable. Nothing they're trying is working. It's demoralizing, and they're not handling it well.
