this Rasheed Wallace fellow?? who is he and where has he been all season?
seriously tho Doc must have chewed his ass out after the no-show on saturday.

also I made a point to take notes during this game of missed calls/no calls/bad calls and I wasnt surprised with what I saw. I made a point to even rewind it on my DVR and get a 2nd look on alot of things and you wont be surprised with what we all saw tonight. Now im not saying that there's a "conspiracy theory" against the celtics or trying to whine about this and that but I am trying to point out ALOT of bad calls and the very one-sided officiating so far this series(which i did expect but not to this extent). so If you're gonna come in here read this and leave a negative comment about me being a "homer" or to "stop whining there's no conspiracy here the refs are doing a great job" just stop reading now and go back to the cavs blog, thanks.

-there were ALOT of no calls on KG tonight, i mean even one time LeBrick body checked him to the ground in the 1st and it wasnt called...
-there was a bogus travel on KG in the 1st
-PP got an off. foul for a "push-off" in the 1st but then in the 3rd the same thing isnt called on MO??? and i didnt think pierce's was that bad but MO's was very obvious..
-KG and pierce had alot of "questionable" calls on them
-Lebrick's hopstep-to another hopstep **** this was the most obvious travel that even Reggie miller (who is the chairman of the Lebron fan club) said it was a travel
-did any1 notice the double dirk elbow that sideshow bob threw at perk in the 3rd?? after he started with perk minutes earlier
-shaq was bulldozing into perk like he was trying to clear a forest but i think only 1 off. foul was called on him
-PP wraps up Mo Williams in the 4th but he acts like he was beheaded and pierce gets a T(which i think will be rescinded by the league)
-speaking of acting, did any1 notice herpes West's oscar worthy act in the 4th?? rondo swiped at the ball, missing by about 6 inches, but herpes west falls to the floor like 1 of the 3stooges just poked him in the eye. whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop
-and then in the 4th when hickson and perk(i think) were going after the ball and hickson clearly hit it out but it's cav's ball... again even reggie miller commented on this.

now for some stats

-fouls at halftime were 16-4 and the cavs shot 18ft's to our 5!!
-fouls at the end of the game were 31-16 and the cavs shot 38 ft's to our 18 (20 MORE FT's THAT IS ABSURD) and we were attacking the paint all game
-Lebrick has 2 personal fouls thru 8 quarters while pierce is avg 1 a quarter... who wants to bet on an over/under of 6 for the series???
-Rondo had a magnificent game with 13pts 19 assists 4 rebs 2stl (he also hit a 3pter in the 1st)
-he also kept MO in check who was 1-9 from the floor with 4 pts(many blamed rondo for MO getting hot in the 3rd of gm 1)
-with about 7mins left in the fourth the celts led 91-66 and then the cavs went on a 15-0 run over the next 4 mins(due to sloppy play, stagnant offense, bad defense, and some bad calls) I really wanted to throw something but I kept my cool and lived thru it and we got the W in the end and thats all that matters.

this was a great win and a confidence boost for this team. we stole homefield advantage and now its back to beantown. keep playin hard guys!!
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

even when we win we complain about the refs... Yes they were bad, but neither game the refs effected the outcome. Tonight the Celts played an overall good game and closed out, game one we simply didnt.

The subject line has nothing to do with this thread's content.  Also, while I agree with a lot of your points, your insane homerism just seems childish.  Herpes West...really?  How old are you?

I think you need to cool of a bit. Either that, or someone will help you cool of.

For the record, personal attacks are typically an indication of lack of class. But then again, how you want to be perceived by others are entirely up to you.

Reggie Miller had our backs all night long. He kept making comments on calls, including Lebron's "block". Reggie kept bringing up the on sided calls. You had to notice it but when a NBA employee keeps bringing it up it's too easy to see. Back in Boston the fans will go insane if they keep calling the games so one sided. Who will the hand picked "REfs" be for game 3?

So what if he has Herpes?  How is this information relevant to anything?  I was only pointing out that "Herpes West" is not as clever or hilarious as you may think.

Back on topic, the officiating has been a little uneven, but I don't think that it decided game 1.  The Celtics had game 1 well within their grasp and they just gave it up.

i never claimed to have given him the clever nickname but i do think its pretty hilarious. and he's just so arrogant and he's really not that good... makes me care even less about his feelings being hurt by a "clever" nickname he got in college

Just don't expect him (Sheed) to be showing up on a regular basis ... it won't happen. One good game out of twenty is pretty poor odds.

A lot of great pro athletes have had herpes, like Kurt Warner and David Wells.

I hope something clicked in Sheed's head, but I don't believe it...

It's good stuff. Cs fans were raping Sheed on all the websites (CB, Celtics Hub, Red's Army). Then he comes out and wins a game for us.

For the record, I always believed in Sheed  ;D

Interestingly, he was a -2 on the night(by-product of being on the court during CLE's 4th-quarter run. He actually didn't get to take any shots during that period).
