He has certainly came a Long way.
Rondo will have a Field Day against LA. They have less to throw at him than both CLE and ORL, I think.

If we get that far -- which of course is a big if -- I think LA will play Kobe on Rondo.  He won't be able to abuse him like he would Fisher.

Let's win seven more games before we talk about that, though.

He wouldn't be able to abuse Kobe like he would Fisher. Bryant might even be able to play Rondo well enough to hold Rondo to games like we've seen vs Cleveland so far.

I would expect something closer to Game 2 Rondo, rather than first half of Game 1 Rondo.  Which is still, of course, excellent.

I think that Game 2 Rondo is what Rajon shoots for every game. If that's what we get then we should be in good shape.

Well, what I think is the most impressive is that I don't think he decides whether he will be game 2 Rondo, or game 1 Rondo before the game.  I think he is no, truly taking what the defense gives him, and it has made a huge difference.

This is the problem I think he had last year in playoffs.  I think he would make up his mind he was either going to pass or score, and then the other team took it away, he disappeared.  Now, he has learned to make adjustments on the fly, and it has really taken his game to another level.

I have to say, I had my doubts when they signed him last summer, after the Magic series last year, but he has proved me wrong.  He still has a little ways to go, but he is on the verge of becoming unstoppable, when he is focussed.

As a team, we are so much better when Rondo has more assists than points.

If Rondo is our leading scorer, it's going to be an L for us more than likely.

Most of the games during the season that Rondo was the leading scorer were when PP and KG were either out of the lineup or plying while hobbled with injury. That had more to do with the losses than Rondo's scoring. I guess you could make the case that fewer assists for Rondo shows that the big three aren't hitting their shots.
