Great Job tonight Sheed. It's nice to see you. Huge first half that kept us in the game where we could have gotten behind quickly. Excellent shot selection all night. Much better effort on the defensive end. I know it was just one game, but it's a start. If we are to win this series then we need more like that from you big fella!

  • Rondo = Good
Even I will recognize Sheed for his performance tonight, though I wish he'd show up like that more often.

Also, 9 of those 17 points were 3 point shots which almost all of the time don't really go in.  So part of it was just some lucky / hot shooting.  Still, he had a good game tonight.  Let's see if he can give us some more nights like that.  When Rasheed scores 15+ and the rest of our starters play well I don't think the Celtics can be beaten.

That's why we brought him here. Now, if he can show some consistency in the rest of the playoff, all the things up to this point will be forgotten.

Rasheed can only really impact the game for the C's by scoring efficiently and stretching the floor. He did a very good job of that tonight, he also had some hustle in his game for once after his hot start. Unfortunately I don't think such shooting is sustainable.

His performance was the difference maker in this game, we just need more like it from anyone on the bench!

I was a huge closet Sheed fan when he was in Detroit.  I am so happy for him tonight.

He stepped up to the challenge by Doc. I am willing to bet that a few teammates took him aside and told him how important he was to us winning. That is the exact way to handle a personality like that. Make it personal. Great job by Doc pushing the right buttons.

He played with swagger & focus tonight. You can see it in his eyes tonight. The old man saved the series for the Celtics.

Kudos to Sheed

I don't think he consistently can shoot 87.5 percent from the field. I'll take the effort he showed tonight though.

  • GOT IT!!!
If the C's can get anything close to that from Sheed consistently they are unbeatable.

Him showing up after Doc called him out isn't a coincidence. It's on Sheed as to whether or not he wants to put in the work.

One game isnt enough to win his love back. However, he certainly saved us tonight. If I could give him a tommy point i would.

I'm going to need a bigger sample size, he's been so bad for so long, 1 game is a blind squirrel getting a nut in my book...

But I do hope for a continued effort on this level, if he can do that, we're in the finals

Forgiven maybe...forgotten...no.

Good game, Sheed, but he is going to need to do this with some consistency before I cut him any more slack than a ..."Good game, Sheed".

Returning to your old self hardly qualifies as luck. If a guy has never produced and lights a game up then you'd be accurate. This was bringing the intensity and focus that he has had throughout his career. (until the last year or so) No way he shoots 7-8 each game from here on out, however he is a streak shooter so hopefully that will continue.

As far as the finals go. If we have no more than what we have been getting this series out of the rest of our bench we won't go far. 12 points in game one total and 10 in game two from guys not named Sheed is not going to cut it. None of the other bench guys played well tonight. We need 2-3 guys consistently producing off the bench to go to the finals.

Excellent game for Sheed.  He performed, but perhaps more importantly, he actually seemed to care.
