...if you were this close from putting a hole in the wall during that fourth quarter stagnation.

Man, I was getting so riled up.

Thankful to come away with a win.  I think I might have been too disgusted to watch the rest of the series if they fell apart in the 4th again.

All's well that ends well!

I wasn't panicking, I was more interested in seeing how we responded. Cleveland was going to make a run - we all knew that, but the key was in how the C's would respond. We responded strongly, and were able to close it out.

A few months ago (realistically, a few weeks ago) we wouldn't have.

I was getting pretty frustrated, you could see that the C's checked out of the game.

That's okay, it happens they came back and put it away. Just one win, and we need three more.

We'll have to play even better to win this series, we won't have Rasheed hitting almost every shot in the next three games.

Rondo admitted in his post-game interview that they were basically just watching the clock and hoping for it to run out instead of actually executing their offense.

That's pretty much exactly what it looked like they were doing, so I'm glad that Rondo can recognize that.

Pierce in particular was turning into a clock-playing-blackhole. I think between this game and past regular season collapses, the C's will be tighter the rest of the way. (Perhaps a 25 point cushion  mid way through the 4th was too much to have.)  :P

  • GOT IT!!!
I was on pins and needles the entire game. I was pacing about and the clock couldn't go fast enough. Once Cleveland made their run I was starting to lose it.

Uhh, I was PO'ed.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I was in the fetal position hugging my basketball until they got the lead back up to 14. They know how to put some drama into a blowout win...

I wasn't that concerned about the play. The lead was too large for Cleveland to comeback from ... too little time, too large of a lead and too many weapons on the Celtics.

It never looked like Cleveland could come back.

I was just happy we had a 25 point lead...EVEN with the refs sucking hard most of the night---We would have LOST this if our lead had only been like 16---which the refs TRIED to make happen...LeBron with the MAJOR TRAVEL no call...LeBron WHACKS KG Twice this game from behind at the hoop---NO CALLS---cause he's the Golden child.

That was scary. Cavs were down 10, and if that Jamison's three would have got in, it could have been a 7 point game, 3 minutes to go. Things like this can shorten your life by a few years with all the stress.

3rd quarter, up in the 20s the gf comes in and says how are they going to blow this lead...and they almost did

but credit the c's for clamping down, not panicking and staying above water, but wow

if Jamison's 3 goes in with us up 10, that would have been very very scary

Paul's head just didn't seem like it was in the game for the most part tonight. Hopefully, he can figure it out by Friday.

I can't lie, I threw a straight temper tantrum.  Took my shirt off and threw it into the wall, picked it up and started swinging it around like nunchuks.  If I saw either of my children behaving like that they'd have been punished.
