well, i gave up reading this thread after page 3...it was filled with quite a bit of hostility.
nonetheless, since i am rather guileless and naive, i will write a post.
i watched the game and the good news is that when the celtics play good defense, let rondo drive, and consistently attacked the basket...they were better than the cavaliers!

from what i saw the celtics decided to stop driving to the basket and instead reverted to jump shooting. from there, things went south quickly.
i also thought cleveland played some good interior defense in the third quarter cutting off some celtic passes. this was when doc needed to make adjustments, but i did not see them.
as for the fouls, i thought the cavs got more than their share, but it wasnt the refs who won the game. it was the celtics who lost the game by going away from a very, very successful game plan during the 3rd quarter.
after watching the game, i honestly think the celtics should win this series. if they play hard and attack the basket for 48 minutes the cavaliers can not stop them.
see? i can not hate the refs and still be a loyal celtic fan.
