I am very pumped for this match up.  Throw regular season records, stats, etc. out the window.  Boston is playing at an elite level now.  The Cavs have never beat the Celtics in the playoffs.  I think this year is their best chance.  I have no idea how this series will play out but I think it is going to be intense and fun to watch.  Looking forward to chatting with you guys throughout

You seem like a nice enough guy, MMac, but I'm sincerely hoping that you get your feelings hurt in a big, big way in this series. ;)

well, this cavs team has never beaten this celtics team in the playoffs, BUT, I remember the cavs with mark price and brad daugherty and craig ehlo ending Larry Bird's career in the playoffs a while back. Time for the celtics to end Lebron's career in cleveland.

It's going to be grueling even if it only lasts 4 games.  I'm extremely apprehensive about this series right now.  I just want it to be a good one.  I'm not ready to start hoping that the Celtics could "shock the world" (as Joakim Noah so foolishly / eloquently put it).

Hmm, I thought we lost in Seven Games in 1992, Larry Bird's last season.

I should have clarified that I was referencing the 'Lebron era' Cavs.

Here's to hoping my feelings don't get hurt.  Who's with me?

No one?  Man.   :)

LOL. It's LBJ that we don't like, not you. You've got a good track record here, keep it up.

I am hoping for a big one on one fight in game 1.  You know, the kind that will be replayed for the next 20 years.

Au contraire, they ended Larry Bird's career in the 1992 playoffs.  Sad day that was.  The Celts were actually a better team before Larry came back to try and help out in the Conference Semis.

Yeah, that one was tough to swallow as an 11 year old boy.

We were that close to a Bulls-Celtics ECF.   :P
