Basketball is not about one on one matchups. 

Yeah I would have to agree, man for man the C's have by far the most name talent of any team, but this years Cavs team finally plays like a team. I agree with Barkley that if the Cavs go one man team they have no chance, but if they play like a team they are very good.

This is going to be a very good series, the key is going to be winning one of the first two in Cleveland. I also think the C's need to leave Pierce on an island against Lebron. I know this sounds crazy since he is the best player in the NBA, but the Cavs have very good perimeter shooters now, that can not be left alone. You can't double/ help with Lebron and get back in time to defend open shots. Live with Lebron and focus on the shooters.

As for:

It's not as close as a lot of us think it is, Lebron is like DWade in the least series plus 10 (not that that value really means anything). I do think he will be completely healthy on Saturday and he will be a handful. The key will be for Pierce to defend but not foul, and for the other players to stay with their men. If Lebron goes for 50 fine,that means he will probably miss over 10 shots and the rest of the team will get no touches.

we should get used to this type of talk from the media. i fully expect it to sound like it did vs the lakers in the finals where nobody except tim legler picked the Cs to win. the cavs might indeed win the series...but there will be nothing easy about it

I love Pierce, but it's not even a little bit close. LeBron is the best player in the world BY A WIDE MARGIN. I think I would probably rank Wade #2, but like I said, a distant #2. I don't even think that Pierce is in the top 20 anymore.

The only hole in LeBron's game is his shot selection. If we can get him to shoot a bunch of jumpers all series we'll be okay.

I think the real close match up is KG and Jamison.
