I'm classy enough to say it:

The first time Lebron takes the ball to the hole, we should put him down hard with a foul on that arm/shoulder.

Let Sheed do it. I'd get off his back then.

That's a great idea. Maybe he'd get a couple games suspension. That'd be a double-win for us.

Even if it isn't a serious injury its still his shooting elbow. If he get it smacked hard a few time he may have trouble shooting. Its like kobe with his broken fingers.

you gotta exploit it while you can. I'm serious. If it was Ray or Paul, the cavs would be all over it, sending sideshow bob and Parker to hack the injured arm over and over, and lebron too since he doesn't get called for fouls.

You NEVER I mean NEVER try to injure a player or make an already injured players injury worse.  I mean what if someone did that to Paul, Ray, KG, or Rondo?

Besides don't you guys want to beat the Cavs at full strength with LeBron completely healthy so nobody have any excuses?

Looks like he reaggrevated the elbow injury he suffered in Game 4.
The media person chased him down he obviously wanted to get back to the lockerroom. Looked pretty serious.

Yeah, definitely appears that he made it worse.  This could be a huge development or just another case of exaggerating pain from Lebron (which we've seen in the past).

Definitely appears legitimate to me, though.  Why shoot a FT left-handed when you have a chance to put your team up by 5 and remove all doubt?

Because he asked Mike Brown to take a timeout so he could rest it and Brown didn't understand the question.  Yep, that's our coach.  Gotta love him.

His elbow has been hurting him on and off pretty much the whole series.  It has gotten a little worse, apparently he loses feeling in his fingers.  Of course, this also flared up in Game 4 and he was just fine.

Hmmm.

The way I see it, if a player has an injured finger, you should swipe at the ball more to try to poke the ball out, especially since mashing their fingers on such plays isn't actually a foul.

It makes no difference if it is Lebron, or Pierce. I would defend that strategy.

I would not defend a strategy of going for elbows or knees because I feel players should be making plays on the ball, not on body parts.

Agreed.  Fair enough to exploit a banged up guys weakness, but to deliberately try to worsen an injury is just plain dirty.  In boxing, sure, go for it.
Yup

Agree with both of these points, but you do not try to intentionally hurt a player and make an already injured players injury worse intentionally like I have heard a million times this past hour, unless it is like guava_wrench said.

I would love the Celtics to beat the Cavs at full strength.

However, I don't think they can.

And Lebron IS at least a bit injured. So we might as well let him know he should stay out of the paint so he doesn't aggravate the injury. The best way to do that is with a hard foul.

Lebron is so strong that you have to smack him hard or wrap him up around the arms to stop him from getting and 1's. I am not saying get him in an arm lock and try to break his elbow, but I think it is fair game to hit his arms hard when he goes to the rim.
