If I were Domenech, I wouldn't come back to France after world cup :)

Domenech was supposed to be fired after the previous WC and after the last Euro but some how he kept the job. But the guy is unique. He made a talented team look so bad , that`s not easy :D

i`ve heard that there are too many personal issues between the players. Mainly everyone VS Gourcuff who`s been training by himself the last days !!!

Disappointed France lost.

Wanted to see South Africa at least have shot to make it to knockout.  Like hometown teams.

Big game tomorrow. US really can't tie.  I'd love some separation in the group.

Thank God for the World Cup. The perfect prescription to ease the hurt of last night. And hey, at least the French lost, what goes around comes around Thierry.

Bloody referee. He is ruining the game.

Awful bookings and now Klose is sent off.

Unbelievable play by Vidic. What was he thinking? Terrible hand ball.

Oh gawd, awful penalty. Miss.

South Africa still has a chance.  If it beats France by a big enough score and Uruguay or Mexico beats the other by a big enough score, then South Africa could make it in.  Obviously not very likely but not technically eliminated yet.

It looks like Germany is going to lose here but they had a lot of good moments today. I wouldn't be upset about the result, they're still on the right track and playing very well.

My concerns about them defensively still exist and I think they make Germany a second tier side behind the likes of England, Brazil and maybe Spain (health?) ... but they do have a shot at doing a lot of damage in this tournament.

Great performance by the Serbs today. Really put everything into this game and you could tell they were physically spent by the end of it. Blows the group wide open now.

That Spanish referee was diabolical. The worst officiating by far in this tournament. Shocking. Germany had their chances, didn't take them. I'm not worried, I think they'll do a lot of damage and could still win. Badstuber needs to be taken out of the team.

If it's any consolation for any other Germans, Mesut Ozil played the best pass of the tournament so far in the second half to Podolski. Absolutely defence splitting and majestic.

Impressive shot at an angle by Donovan to pull one back for the US.

Yeah didn't see that one coming. Very interested in seeing how this group shakes out in the end.

Great second half from the US, although the US should of won.  The ref was making questionable decisions all game.  Replay of the disallowed Edu goal shows he wasn't offside and that ref could of called a foul on Slovenia.
