remember that d wade HAD to play the entire 4th quarter with no rest. he is on a bad leg...i think boston needed to make him work more...but boston gave this game away with turnovers early and missed FTs as much as miami won it. face...wade it a 30 percent shooter from 3. he had his huge game today. i don't expect it to happen again

Frustrating loss... but we will get them in game 5 in Beantown. No way Wade repeats this kind of performance and we choke like that in the money time... right?

Good evening everybody.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I would like to thank DOC RIVERS for wearing out his BIG 3 in the 3rd quarter---By playing them ALL the ENTIRE time----THUS leading to 5 MISSED free throws to LOSE this game for us....GOOD Coaching there.

You do realize Ray and Pierce didn't play much of the first half cuz of foul trouble, right? Kg and Paul play 37mins, Ray played 34. That's were you want them to be for a playoff game.

At some point, you have to stop blaming Doc and blame, oh I don't know, the players...

Take one because we got this. What a performance from Wade, though. And remember: no team has ever come back from 0-3 to advance. NO TEAM.

Now, GO BULLS!

That was the most incredible choke job I have ever seen in my life.  At least in the NBA.  I saw a chick miss two layups in NCAA womens tourney but ID argue this was on par with that

I'm not too worried about this one.  Wade basically played the fourth quarter like he was Antoine Walker, bombing threes early in the shotclock.  If that's going to be the Heat's solution next game, Game 5 is going to make Game 2 look like it was close.

Simply put, while the C's certainly weren't stellar, the Heat were very, very lucky.  If that game was played 100 more times, there's no way that Wade hits that many threes and Ray and KG miss those free throws.

Enjoy it now Heat.  Get ready to be spanked by 30 on Tuesday.

there's no excuse for this end of game performance---none whatsoever.

blown layup, blown free throws, bad defense allowing a last-second layup by Miami.

True, they could have closed better. But if it's going to take a 20 point fourth quarter from wade along with 5/5  :o shooting on contested 3 pointers for him to get his team to care about not going home, I'm very ok with 3-1 headed back to boston.

I mean, this sucks because we don't just finish it with a sweep, but if Miami's only hope is a absolutely superb performance for wade that includes a 3PT percentage over 60% at the moment, I;m pretty confident we're moving on shortly...like in game 5.

Lets give credit where it's due. I feel alot of times as fans, we never credit anything, it's always something our team did wrong.

But in this case, while they could have closed alittle better, Wade had an out of his mind fourth quarter. 3 of his 3 pointers where very well defended. He had a near perfect quarter to give his team the win.

A hit tip by me to him. I don't think he can do it 3 games straight, so i'm not concerned.

He'll still play well, but not "whatever double team im rising up and burying yet ANOTHER 3 pointer" well. and without his transcendent start and fourth quarters today, the heat are pedestrian.

When we were up to start the 4th---we just DID NOT Guard him---we let him do whatever he wanted---and he went off from there----What happened to FULL Court ball pressure?.....huh?

Can we not overreact to this loss?

Wade had to play the best playoff game of his career and it comes down to missed free throws on the celtics part.

Amen, the Chicken-Little's are out again. It is a 4-5 matchup in the NBA playoffs. Going home up 3-1. Hardly the worst position to be in. It took an all out amazing performance for The Heat to win this one. We didn't help with missed free-throws. My confidence is not shaken.

R u serious?   That wasn't a choke job... That was Dwayne Wade taking over and being in the zone and showing why he is a top 3 player in the NBA.  That was not a choke.

Anyone who thinks Wade played "good basketball" in the fourth quarter should be officially banned by the mods here from ever criticizing Antoine Walker again.

i am the biggest half empty guy on this board...but it took 45 POINTS from d wade for the heat to win today. anyone else on this board think the Cs are going to allow wade to go for 45 again?

in game 5 i expect that richardson has 5 or less points....that beasley gets into foul trouble early...and the celtics come out ready to roll....kindo of like game 6 vs LA two years ago.

one more thing...to me getting out in anything less than 7 is a GREAT thing...that is something we haven't seen in a while....
