Clev is a better team

Cleveland a better team?  We'll see.
We already know this. It doesn't mean we can't win though. The best team doesn't always win.

I have a hard time believing that teams can win a 7 game series against healthy Celtics

The C's have a shot.  Win today get some rest and steal one of the first 2 games.  I don't respect those that say they don't have 'a shot' because that's basically saying you have no clue what you are talking about. I suggest that you remember that the next time you hear or read someone say that.

Boston has mismatches all over the court against Clev.

Cleveland is not a better team (regular season team, yes ; playoffs team... not so much)). It will be interesting to see if all the "experts" pick Cleveland once again or if a potential sweep from the C's and a 6 games series of the Cavs with Chicago will make them reconsider... but I guess not since they all buy in the Cleveland hype machine, even worse than last year.

I like the C's chances against Cleveland.  More concerned with getting by Orlando, they appear to be headed for the Championship.

What ticked me off is not so many not giving the Celtics a chance.. Against Miami!  Miami wanted to play the Celtics because the pundits thought they had a better chance against the Celtics, even though they beat Atlanta 3 out of 4 and lost all five regular season games to the Celtics. ****!

I was watching Around the Horn on yesterday and they were surprised that Miami was 0-2 against the Celtics (even though they were the road team) and thought that there was no way Miami loses game 3.

I understand that the Celtics have been inconsistent all season, but that same inconsistent team beat Miami every time they played.

The vast majority of media people picked Boston to beat Miami.

Well on NBA TV, before the playoffs began, Eric Snow said Miami wanted to play Boston because of the way Boston was playing down the stretch.  So I was going by that.

My feeling is that the best team in a series always wins.  I shake my head when I hear losing players say they had the better team.  There is a reason they play the games.

If the C's beat Cleveland that'll be good enough this year for many fans.

I can see us winning only if We sweep the Heat, and Chicago takes Cleveland to at least 6. They would be a little tired, and we could definitely take advantage of it.

I don't think that has any bearing.  Did playing 7 games against Atlanta in 2008 mean we couldn't beat Cleveland in the next round?  Or did playing 7 games against Cleveland mean we couldn't beat Detroit?

I'm with you here. Everybody is talking about the Cavs and now about the C's  latest resurgence as Orlando is just flying under the radar taking care of business. They had the second best record in the entire NBA and the best second half record over every team. Not to mention they have some pretty good players on their team as well.

It has some bearing, I think, but it has a lot less to do with our chances against anyone than the sudden and rather shocking re-commitment to defensive rotations and ball movement, among other things that dragged the regular season way down, that no one could have expected.

I was listening to the radio today and they were talking to a hack from NY(I think his name was Wilson)and he gave Boston zero chance against the Cavs.

I can understand the C's not being picked, I get that, with how they have played this year they don't deserve to be favorites. But this guy said he picked the Heat in 7 and what you are seeing is a "mirage" from the Celtics. "It's just dealying the demise one more round" he went on to say.

To not even give them the slightest chance is rediculous, we did beat them twice this year and proved we can hang with them. I'm not saying I believe in the "switch"(if they beat Cleveland, then I'll believe) or that the series from the Heat proves they were coasting this season, but they are playing complete games now, which they were not doing all year.

Here's to Boston making fools of the media one more time. Let's prove them wrong again just like 08.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Lebron doesn't get tired.  And it doesn't matter if Shaq is tired or not because they are deep enough to get by with only 10-20 minutes per game from him.

I see us winning if we can just play to the best of our ability.  If we can, I think we are simply the better team.
