It's amazing how it's the first time in three playoff series that the KG and Ray era Celtics are up 3-0 in a series.

I must admit that it feels strange! To me the game that changed how I saw this team was the one in Dallas. I think they have that same mindset right now or even better and I am confident that we will feel a lot better as fans no matter what happens next.

There's now a legitimate chance that by the end of the day the Cs are the only undefeated team in the postseason. How many guys who feared the worst would have predicted that?

Not to sound like an "I told you guy" or anything like that, I think that what is happening right now proves that nobody can always be right when predicting how a team will play in a set of games. It is a lot easier to predict the outcome in terms of W and L but predicting the way a team plays is a whole different story which not even the team can control.

On that note I am so happy that they don't necessarily have to go back to Miami if they take care of their business properly.

I was thinking the same thing, how it's odd that *this* team, out of all the Big Three teams, is the first team not only to go 3-0, but to win three straight against the same team in the playoffs.  Hopefully, these three wins lead to some momentum against Cleveland.  After a tough game like last night, I can't see them getting complacent.

Yep, quite surprising to see that this the first time this Celtics squad has gone up 3-0 against an opponent, especially when you consider they are older than in '08 and in '09... but I will gladly take it, it's an awesome feeling to be up 3-0, and let's hope this ends up as a sweep, which would be a first time ever too for this squad!

Surprising. But at the same time, it kinda makes perfect sense given how bizarrely unpredictable this season has been. Another 7 game series would have been too logical LOL.

Considering that we hit a buzzer beater to pull off the third win I think it fits the overall flow of this team. They were close against Atlanta and the Lakers in several similar games to this past one.

This is why I wasn't in favor of Ainge trading Ray for the offer the Knicks gave: young talent, 1st rounders, and Jared Jeffries and his extra year. A lot were in favor of blowing it up ASAP. Because this team still has a chance. A small one at that, but you can't give up any chance when you have even a remote chance at contending.

Another thought I've had is that Miami is a streaky team. They've won 5, lost 5, won 5, etc. all year. We caught em at just the right time!  :P

Fo' fo' fo' fo'. :D

I too predicted a tough 7-game series.  The last Wade miss was crucial, like Captain Truth's shot: a true pivotal moment in the series.

I'm actually glad the Cleveland series will start on the road.  This year's Cs are a better road team than home team.  Go figure.

We are up 3-0 on a not very good Miami team. Yeah going up three games is great, we still haven't played a team that only has one player who could do anything.

I'm not surprised at all that the Celtics are up 3-0 in this series (even though I was thinking it might go 6).

Atlanta in 2008 and Chicago in 2007 were better teams than this Miami team. Atlanta and Chicago had so many more weapons even though they were younger.

On top of that, the Celtics took Atlanta too lightly in 2008 and had a bigman lineup of Perkins, Davis, Scal and Mikki against Chicago in 2009.

We're rolling, baby! GO Celtics!!

I am hoping for rest for our men between series.  Greatest thing that could happen.

I think it's possible people have started to underrate the Heat here because of how we have played against them this year.

They've split w/Orlando, split w/LA where Kobe hit a ridiculous banking runner @ the buzzer in LA, beat Atlanta in 3 out of 4 games. And those are teams we struggled with. They aren't that bad.

Wow, you have to go back to Bird's prime for that.

In 1987 (and 1986), The Celtics swept the Bulls in 3 games.

The last 4 game sweep was against the Bucks in 1986.

Oh no, they aren't bad. Their defensive pressure is excellent, especially on the perimeter. We saw that on full display in game 1.

However the playoffs are a different animal. Size and experience mixed with defense wins. Miami would probably be down 3-0 to LA too. Not sure about Orlando though.  :P
