Any news on what was wrong with his knee? Obv prefer to get the sweep without an injury, but if Wade is out for game 4 or limited, then the C's are really sitting pretty.

1. he has severe cramps in his calf
2. he is flat out exhausted

The big question is, if there's anything potentially wrong with his leg, will he sit knowing that an injury could hurt his chances on the free agent market next year?

I don't see it - I think he signs a max deal in Miami - and tries to get Bosh or Amare to come too. Where does Wade go? He can't go play in Miami.

Ray Allen is really the answer for Wade. Ray's conditioning lets him run Wade weary, and then when Ray is out, he faces Tony - who has played him tough. Less rest until Sunday, the C's should be able to keep the punishment up. I do wonder how well Wade conditions.

he clearly twisted something on that last shot he took against Ray, the replay showed it well. Maybe it wasn't too bad, but he did twist either his knee or ankle.

I hope it's nothing too serious. Hate to see him injured. Even though he's dangerous I hope he plays Sunday to avoid the team missing their best player trap. I've seen that movie too often and usually don't like how it ends.

We are a really bad matchup for Wade with a SG that is so good on offense being backed up by one who is really good on defense.

No indication of an injury for Wade. Just cramps.

He'll play Sunday, but I don't expect him to play a ton.  If the Heat get behind early, look for Spoelstra to rest his main guys.  No sense in risking injuries to key guys (even if most will be free agents) in an essentially meaningless game.

That was cramps?!? Seriously? They were not treating it as cramps, they were treating it as they would a serious knee injury. No rubbing or massaging of the muscles, although they did get gatorade into him as soon as he sat down. Hmmmm ... something a bit odd about this whole thing.

i rewatched it and if it was cramps they NEVER stretched his leg and address the cramp in the calf. to me..it looked a little worse...i haven't seen someone with a cramp have to be carried to the bench and then 10 minutes later carried to the lockerroom like that

dwade's knee

anyone hear anything about wade's knee/cramp, and if he will play game 4?  they claimed it was a cramp last night, but the way he grabbed it and was helped off the court, makes me wonder if it is more serious.

edit...my bad, saw theres another thread.  this can be locked.

I hope whoever was near Quentin Richardson said "What an actress..." when Wade went down.
