By the way, how about the earlier foul on Rondo when he was playing EXCELLENT defense on Chalmers? That was some garbage.

After seeing the idiot ref for so many years, I'm fairly convinced that Salvatore is crooked. And this is coming from somebody who REFUSES to subscribe to just about any other conspiracy theory out there.

In fact, I'll bet you 95% of the refs in the league just try to do their best. But a few select refs always seem to be behind some of the craziest calls, and Salvatore is one of them.

i counted about 4 missed FTs and i counted 3 horrible calls on rondo..i counted 1 over the back by wade on ray allen big time...

I agree with that ref crticism.....always ONE pushing the bad, one-sided calls...a bad influence for no obvious rea$on....   $$$...

i find it funny when only one guy on a crew continues to call fouls while the other 2 don't bennett misses more calls than any ref in the league. the offensive foul on rondo was a FLOP....wade chucked rondo in the back on the ray break away....and chalmers led with the off arm...rondo played great defense there.

we need to come out and put the screws to these jokers

Except that for the "product" this is the right way. A 4-game series is a seriously inferior "product" than a 7-game series. Come on -- more is better.

Decent half - the effort is there though the results have been spotty.

Officiating has been pretty lousy, nice timing with Stern in the building pumping up the refs.  Looked like Salvatore saw Wade flailing out of the corner of his eye and assumed Rondo tried to clear him out.  Just the sort of smug, "I-am-in-charge-here" type of call that he really likes to make.  Too bad he guessed wrong.
