He has to be a bit careful with Rondo, he at times is showing signs of tiredness, particularly in the defensive side. For as good as he was defensively in Game 2, I think he did a lot of bad things defensively tonight... he didn't look energetic defensively to me.

Doc played Rondo and Pierce 44 minutes tonight. I don't think he'll do the same Sunday with only the one day off.

Rondo is at his best when his minutes are just in the high 30s. It allows him to expend more energy while he's on the court. His defense definitely suffers as his minutes creep up.

Did Doc call a time out with Wade on the floor rolling around in pain?

I have to give Doc a lot of credit.
He's practically benched Sheed- finally!
He's playing TA more.
He's benched Daniels.

In other words, he's actually using the guys who are performing well.
Not sure he would have done any of that a couple of years ago.

I just hope PP doesn't need to go 44 minutes too often, though it worked out pretty well last night!

For the first time I 100% agree that his coaching, this whole series, is so far beyond what I expected that I have to give Glen props.

Maybe he was the "switch" that we would turn on in the playoffs?
