I also noticed that he didn't lay down where he got hit, he made sure to wander over to lay down on the other teams bench. Bad things can happen when you lay down in the wrong spot. Artest's nap on the scorers table comes to mind.
I don't think the problem came when he got hit, I think it came he twisted his arm to make a pass in an awkward angle. Anyways, those stingers hurt, even if it's just temporary. It does no one any good for him to just pop right up with his neck and shoulder hurting, best thing is to let the trainers come make sure everything is in order and move from there.
EJ, of all the ridiculous things that I think you've mentioned in this blog, I think this one takes the cake to tell the truth... since we're speaking about the truth and all.
Nothing personal about that at all BudweiserCeltic… Are you trying to insult me or rebutt the point?
If he had walked over to the trainer instead of falling down on the floor I might have bought your argument. He didn't need to fall down on the floor.
He got tripped and pushed for one. Secondly, those stingers go all the way right up to the neck. Thirdly, even with everyone crowding over him, in the middle of the brawl he just stayed there on the ground... I would imagine if he was just being a drama queen about the whole thing he would've done his best to get the heck out of there instead of risking Big Baby landing with his ass on Pierce's face.
Come on now, the guy got a legit injury that's been bothering him for weeks if not longer, he was hurting however temporary it may be. He can sit, lay down on the floor, for all I care until the sensation passes.
As for the rest, you can really take it however you want, I really don't care.
