I was surprised to see that nobody had posted a thread dedicated to what QRich said after the game.  "Actresses"???  For anyone who hasn't read it, check out his full comments http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/news/story?id=5107909

Doc had better pick a Loscy for next game (might I suggest Shelden or perhaps Marquis) who will take care of this.   This AAU era basketball where a player will say crap like that and the other team passes on it is not for me.

Richardson saying our guys are actresses?  Did he miss when Jermaine O'Neal failed to get a charge call because he flopped so obviously?  Saying Pierce and KG are "good players, and that's about it"?  Quentin, these are two guys who have spent their collective almost 30 years in the NBA on two franchises.  Meanwhile, you're on your 4th team in a 3rd of the time.  Who the hell are you to say anything about any other player in the league.

"I knew he wasn't hurt cuz I knew nobody touched him"  "He's just takin one of those breaks he takes in the middle of a game"

If he makes it to the fourth quarter on Tuesday, I'll be disappointed.  And I have never asked that this treatment be given to a player, but he has been asking for it for a few years with PP.  It's time.

For those of you out there going on Tuesday, LET HIM HAVE IT!

I want to see Scal go Kermit Washington on Richardson.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
As much as I would like this, QRich just isn't worth losing any player on our team with a suspension. He is just not that good. I would rather see him out there clanking 3s and taking playing time from better players on the Heat.

Any suspensions that result from the scrum without Richardson getting bounced for instigating it with his mouth are absolutely unacceptable.

QRich has always ran his mouth with us.

I remember back in 2007-2008 when he was with New York, he had beef with Paul Pierce, in several NY games.

The title of the thread made me smile, though. Brought back memories of when Chief brought down Bill Laimbeer. Bill came trucking into the lane, and Chief just took him out, right across the chest and took him to the floor.

Now THAT was a Classic...the quietest, calmest player on our team back then, taking down big bad Bill. And the look on Laimbeer's face was classic, too.

You have to admit every time Pierce goes down he has to stay down for what seems like forever.  He does milk it.

You mean 4th team this season... He was traded like 3 different times this off season. I hope they mess him up real good next time.

I have to agree with jambr380. The Celtics are better off with QRich playing. I would love to see our "actresses" expose him for the rest of the series.

ESPN claims the whole thing started when PP "fell" out of bounds. I suggest ESPN watch the replay again. PP is fouled twice and then pushed out of bounds. It's called reporting. Go watch the film and report.

The only problem is Q Rich was partly correct. Pierce is a drama queen. When Pierce gets hurt, he rolls around screaming in pain like he has some devastating injury. We then take a 20 sec timeout and he stays in the game.

Either Q Rich watches a lot of league pass, or the players across the league have noticed Pierce's theatrics.

Maybe PP "over-reacts" when he is injured...but that doesn't justify that Q punk's actions...PP was still injured...he had no business standing over him and mouthing off.

as opposed to quinton richardson, who just gets injured all the time and doesn't play.  give me the 'drama queen' that plays hurt any day of the week.
